Kane has grown accustomed to living with me and my parents. My father is still stubborn about accepting someone new for such a long time. That is fine as long as Kane feels comfortable; either way, my dad will always hate everything excluding himself. She will continue to live here until she finishes high school which is cool. I am almost done with my year break; so, I will have to start college in a few weeks. I hope it goes well.
(Time skip: one year)
I didn't have anything happen surprisingly. I started college and had to say a very teary goodbye to Kane. It was only 2 weeks of not seeing each other and she cried. I wouldn't have cried but her teary eyes and over thinking made the tears come out. We met again after those 2 weeks and she was so happy, it made me happy. This pattern went on for the entire school year and finally, I am done with my first year of college. The only thing left to experience is Kane's graduation from high school. I'm secretly very excited for her to graduate.
I promised to go shopping with her to find her outfit today. She looks good in literally anything but, I need to help her anyway. Her favorite store is Burlington, so here we are in Burlington; specifically, the dress section. It's funny watching her zoom from one rack to the other. We had a dress picked like an hour ago and she's still looking " to make sure." How long will this take, my calves are aching.
