With my red stilettos hitting the floor that creates an annoying sound to every ear, I continue walking despite of the stares I'm getting from my co-students.
I can't help but to grin as I take another turn to the right. They look so stupid just by doing that. Am I that pretty? Well, can't blame them. Because yes, I am that pretty. My knees are as pink as the gloss on the surface of my lips.
When I reached the room that states where I belong, I produce a soft sigh before striding inside. “You got this, Louise,” I whisper to myself before walking towards a group of students, foolishly staring at me.
“Uy, hanep! It's Matt.
I walk to the teacher's table where Mrs. Gomez is sitting. When she noticed me, a smile forms unconsciously to her wrinkled face. “Good morning, Louise,” bati nito sa akin bago siya tumayo. “Class, I want you to meet your new classmate. Her name's Louisiana Robbie. She'll be staying with us for the rest of the school year, so I hope you are able to build friendship with her.”
Matt's face sulks. Bakit niyo naman po hahadlangan ang pagmamahalan namin?” he acts hurt, which just makes him look stupid and pathetic.
The sound of his voice, it never changed. He still has that annoying squeak whenever he's chuckling. He sounds... dangerous, same with the Matt I last saw.
The thing is, nothing really changed, except for me.
I became wiser, prettier, and more dangerous than him.
“Osiya!” Mrs. Gomez waves her hand. “Miss Louise, you may sit beside Matt if you don't mind,” she utters while smiling at me, half-teasing.
Marahan at maingat akong tumango. “Sure, ma'am.” The moment that I walk towards him, Matt settles his back on the chair and opens his legs, which made the boys beside him cheer in glee.
Boys could be really disgusting at some point, especially in this section, especially the one sitting next to me with a grin similar to a predator preparing to eat his prey.
“Hi,” greets Matt while waving his hand as I sit in the chair.
One thing I pity about boys is that they act so hard just to look strong yet they are the ones who are emotionally fragile. Pathetic beings.
Throughout the entire class, I can feel Matt's never-ending stares poking beside my body. He really feels so dangerous, but this is how I wanted him to react towards me. I want him to be willing to kneel and beg just so I'd let him touch a part of my skin.
