We made it to tonight's destination without coming across any more people on our walk. The campsite had people present though. We hung back in the trees while the guys scouted whether it was safe. All of the people present were older couples. We figured they would probably keep to themselves but the guys are keeping me within arms length to be safe.

This was another campsite located on the river. Owen and Luke went to talk to the campground ranger about availability while the rest of us hang back in the tree line. I hope we get to stop here tonight. I am hot, tired, sweaty and really in need of a bath. Not another limb wash, but a real bath.

"Do you have anymore of those waterproof bandages Sean? I REALLY need to get a bath. Just washing off my limbs is not going to cut it again."

"I do Pookie, but not that many left. Let me look at the bullet wound before I can tell you how deep in the water you can go, or if you can get the wound wet at all."

"Even if I can only go in up to here," I held my hand across my chest at the top of my boobs, "I will gladly take it. Besides, Gabriel said he would figure out how to wash my hair for me." Even after I moved my hand I saw that multiple guy's eyes were still locked on my chest where I was just pointing out for Sean to look.

"I was thinking about that, and if you aren't apposed to it Trouble, maybe you can go into the water in your swimsuit. That way I can just get in with you to wash your hair." Gabriel offered.

"I can do that."

"It would be safer for her too, to have one of us with her." Kota spoke up.

"Or maybe we all just go in at the same time in our boxers." Nathan suggested. "You know, safety in numbers." Grunts of agreement were sounded.

"Speaking of safety, Doc, it might not be a good plan to keep telling people you are a doctor. We don't want you being a target too." Victor worried. "Think about it, what would have happened if those guys armed with guns knew you could help that kid?"

"Victor has a point Doc. I'll take down whoever I need to, but that could have become an unnecessary fight for your freedom." North contemplated.

"We should probably stop calling him Doc." Silas suggested. "Sorry Doc, it feels weird and a little disrespectful. Sean...Sean...Sean. I need to commit that to memory."

Owen came back to us with a slight smile. "They have one cabin left. They said everyone that is here pools food together for dinner and that is payment to stay the night."

"I think we are parting with quite a few apples then, yes?" Luke asked.

"They will probably love the fresh fruit. And maybe we don't need to part with all of them. Do we know how many people are currently here?" Kota questioned.

"We can find out, then figure out how many apples to part with." Owen answered him.
