Akatsuki x Child reader (Y/n's life in boruto)

7 years later

It's early, the sun is coming out of the horizon. Y/n and others are still in bed sleeping. Outside of the base was a living being walking.

That being is a Hokkaido wolf, but she doesn't look no close to an actual Hokkaido wolf. She looks more like a winter wolf. Her name is Momiji. 

She was facing away from the base, she looked amongst the trees. Her paws are buried in the snow. She breathed out, seeing her own breath in front of her.

She soon sat down on the snow and looked at the pale blue sky. She breathed in… and howled.

Far from the base there was another Hokkaido wolf but it looked just like his counterpart, he looked like a winter wolf. His name is Yuta a black winter wolf. 

He was sitting on his vessel's roof, watching the sun slowly rising. His vessel is sleeping warmly in his bed. Soon Yuta's ear twitched and he heard the sound that he truly fell in love with. 

Yuta thought about holding back his howl because he didn't want to wake others but he couldn't help it. Yuta took a deep breath and let out a big howl. Snow around him blew away. 

Momiji stopped howling and was about to walk in the base after 7 years of disappearing but she heard something that brought tears to her eyes. She can hear him howling. 

"So, you are alive. That's interesting. " 

When everyone is finally awake 

"Do you guys want pancakes or French toast?" You yawned as you walked into the main room.

"Anything is fine with me Y/n!" Lee smiled.

"I'll eat anything…" Boruto and Inojin mumbled. 

You rubbed your eyes as you walked but a voice stopped everyone's movements.

"Wow, everyone has grown up so well. I'm impressed, great job." 

Everyone looked down and saw a f/c snow wolf. Everyone looked at her confused.

"Momiji?" Everyone said except for Lee. 

"Sensei!!" Lee yelled and ran to Momiji to hug her but she jumped over him and sat on his back.

"Momiji, what happened to your strength?" Sarada asked.

"Oh, you like it? I was collecting the rest of my strength. I can finally use ninjutsus." 

"Oh! Momiji have you noticed Y/n's tail and ears are gone! It happened when she mastered all the jutsus her dad gave her!" Inojin said excitedly.

Momiji looked towards you, she was about to say a smart remark but she saw tears. "Child, what are you doing?" Momiji looked at you confused.

"What does it look like? I'm crying, I'm happy that you're back." You smiled. Momiji looked at you for a while longer but then looked away.

"Nonsense, suck it up and continue what you were doing."

"Sensei, you look different." Mitsuki pointed out.

"Oh yeah? Do you guys like it?" Momiji did a little twirl.

"Yeah you look super fluffy," Inojin gave her a thumbs up.

"Is that why you went missing for 7 years?" Shikadai asked.

"Well, yes and no. While I was gone, I was busy gathering up the rest of my strength. So I can not only do physical attacks but I can also do ninjutsu, I have already said this." 

"That's cool." Sarada put her hand on her hip.

"Is that why I can't sometimes control my body?" You picked her up and looked at her seriously.
