🔱Tara's point if view🔱
Somewhere in the middle of finding myself and losing myself, I understood that two things stood in my way. Love and hate. I knew what I wanted now.
As I sat up in my bed I could feel the cold air coming in from my open window surround me and make goosebumps form on my arms. It was the middle of April and it was still cold. I heard a vibration and looked at my phone screen. I had four texts and a voicemail from Max. Max was my best friend. He was a complete dream. Black hair, beautiful eyes that shifted colors on occasion, and a toned body. He was the perfect image of every girl. That's right. The cute guys are always gay.
The messages were still coming and I figured I should read them before he called again so I picked my phone up and read them.~Text from: Max💙 7:15 am
"Hey beautiful! Wake up!"
7:20 am
"Hey! Answer me!"
7:35 am
"I'm coming to pick you up! Wake up!"
8:00 am
"I'm leaving now. Be there in 10!
8:10 am
Wake up lazy ass!"
8:30 am
"I'm getting coffee!"Shit. If he's coming to get me I need to get up. Of course, my apartment was empty and I could hear the cars pass outside. I moved here at the beginning of the year because my parents and I had a disagreement and I couldn't take the crazy anymore.
I climbed out of bed in my black sports bra and some yoga pants. Max was at the door so I didn't have time to change.I walked downstairs and opened the door for him to come in and he picked me up in a hug, almost dropping the Starbucks in his hands.
"I've had a wonderful morning!" He said putting me down and handing me the coffee."What's up with you today?"
He put his coffee cup to his lips and sipped it loudly before throwing his hand in the air and throwing his phone at me. "Read the message!" He shouted almost in a whisper tone before sitting on my couch.

"Glad I got to get the chance to meet you finally. We should meet again sometime. How's tomorrow? Are you free?" Xoxo."My jaw dropped as I handed him the phone back. Allan was a guy that worked at the coffee shop down town that had been Max's secret crush all year. Max liked him and stared at him every time they went in there. Sometimes he'd even go just to see him. Sadly, Allan never really flirted back with Max. Recently though, Allan had met Max at the coffee shop and had introduced himself for the first time.
It had never occurred to her just how happy she would be for him.
"Holy shit! Max that's awesome!"
I hugged him and took a seat beside him. "How are you going to respond?"He held the phone up and pulled up the message screen. "Duh! I'm totally going!" He started typing his answer and when and where he'd like to meet up and then stood up. "go get dressed you hoe. We've got to go to the gym."
I laughed and stood up. "what's wrong with what I'm wearing?"
He rolled his eyes and jingled his keys. "Then let's go!"
I smiled and grabbed a jacket and a pair of shoes and we were out the door in 10 minutes, headed for the gym.
Max and I are more of the "sit and watch hot guys" kind of people at the gym. We pretend a lot.
As we sat there enjoying the view of a man in front of us, a man, almost 6' walked past me and my heart skipped a beat. He was gorgeous. Dirty blonde hair, tall, muscular, and completely set if you know what I mean.
In the midst of staring at the hotness that was that man I had dropped my water bottle and spilt water all over my yoga pants. As I shuffled to clean it up, and unfamiliar hand grabbed my knee and held out my water bottle.
I looked up and automatically looked into his golden brown eyes. He smiled and I couldn't help but blush.
"My names Colin. What's yours?"
