The time Dixie D'Amelio came to my house

Rebirth

Devoid of warning the atmosphere starts to fall, the floor crumbles, the world shakes up, and the void shrinks. A new rift suddenly opens and Noah Beck comes out urging me to take his hand. I run to him as quickly as I can, my feet start to burn but I made it. He drags me into the rift with all his force, the light completely shut off. I am totally blinded and I suddenly feel a strange object surrounding my head. My hair starts to itch so I begin to scratch it. As I scratch it I notice a plasticky texture and I decide to touch the surrounding area. It feels like I have a headset on, my heart sinks, have I been living a lie my whole life? I hesitantly grab each side of the object and lift it off of my head. I take the headset off and I notice a room filled with people wearing headsets and walking on globular treadmills which I assume provide a realistic walking experience wearing the headset. All this information is just too much to take in, and I fall to the ground. I start to cry hysterically, everything I did in my lie was just an elaborate lie. I stand up and walk to the other users. I notice a little boy wearing a headset and I had a notion to take his headset off. But I just can't do it, it would hurt him too badly, and he would hate me for taking away his fantasy. I walk out of the room and a security guard glances at me. she runs toward me and tackles me, I fight her and beg her to get off of me. She turns me over and asks, "how did you escape?" I look at her as she stares at me back. I start to hyperventilate and I notice that I am having an asthma attack. "Oh, shit. somebody get a doctor!" she yelled before I passed out. I wake up in a hospital bed, and a stranger stands by my feet, he's tall and wearing a suit. He notices me waking up and walks over to me. "Who are you?" I asked weakly. "I run this facility," he said. My eyes pop wide open and I get up and am ready to punch him. He puts his hands up and surrenders himself. I punch him anyways. "I understand why you'd be angry at me, but you'd be in worse condition if I didn't take you." he explains. "Shut your mouth, [profane insult]." I scream. "Y/N please just try to hear me out," he said. I calm down and sit on a chair with my legs and arms crossed. "I bring orphans in here to provide a fictitious experience in a dream reality." he explains. Hearing the word "orphan" makes my heart sink. I start to tear up and he looks at me suspiciously, maybe he was expecting a bigger reaction, but after everything that happened in the last DAY, I've become empty. He sighs "this was never meant to be permanent, I wanted to introduce you to reality, but slowly. It's not healthy to stay in there that long." he said. "I created the Dixie D Amelio that Dixie Damelio scenario to help get you out, you were in the simulated reality for too long. So long that everyone important to you disappeared, the simulation glitched terribly." I uncross my legs and arms and put my hands on my knees. I open my mouth to say something, but nothing comes out, So I try again. "But why Dixie Damelio?" I inquired. "When you were taken in, you said it was your dream to meet Dixie Damelio, her family, and date Noah Beck. I couldn't fulfill the last part for... Legal justifications, but I hope you understand." he summarized. "I... I want to go back" I let out. "But if you go back, I have to erase all your memori-" "It's WORTH IT" I scream. He nods and gets up from the bed, he walks out of the room and I follow him. He walks into an office and pulls out a sheet of paper. "Write whatever you desire onto this sheet; I'll have your reality prepared in a week." he said. I do not hesitate to grab the paper and pen. I want to write money and fame, but my reality can be anything I please. I play with the pen and look around the desk. I see his nameplate, "Dr. Sapphirrus" I write down what I want in this reality. Once I'm done, I fold the paper and slide it toward him. "So how long have I been in that reality?" I asked. "six years." he said. "It's time for you to leave, I'll tell you when it's ready, until then." he slides me a card with the number "212" on it. "Is this a hotel card?" I ask. Not a hotel card, an access card." he said. "Access card to what... A hotel room?" I chuckle. He shakes his head "An access card to everything in this building, don't leave; it may be dangerous for you." he made clear. I run out of the room as excited as ever.

"Are you ready to see your new reality Y/N?" Sapphirrus asks. I nod aggressively. He smiles and turns around to take me to the VR room. We arrive at the room and I tread to my division. "Remember, once you put this headset on, everything you know will leave your memories." he warned. "It's worth living in my dream reality" I laughed. I stand on the treadmill and nod to him, signaling that I'm ready to join my new reality. "Goodbye, Dr. Sapphirrus" I said. "Goodbye, Y/N" he said. I put the headset on again, "Commencing memory wipe" said a robotic female voice. Everything goes blank, and that's the last thing I remember before I'm reborn.
