Chapter 3

Loki made an agreement with Hydra. He would take over the world and would let Hydra have a piece of the power. Therefore, Hydra would send him their best soldiers to help him take the government down.

That is how Luisa and Barnes landed in the middle of a fight with some heroes. The brunette was forced to fight a lot of good people through her times as the Dark Angle of Hydra. She always tried to harm them the less she could. She even helped to get Hydra out of S.H.I.E.L.D. without them noticing.

Since she was now fighting some heroes, Luisa was trying to get some help. The last two years, she was working to get Barnes back to what is right. Her efforts showed results. For one year now, he got flashbacks. Often in the middle of the night, he came to her room and told her about his dreams. After years of serving, he finally started to question his commands.

To get out and take Hydra down, she needed help. Luisa left hints everywhere. She wrote messages, told civilians things and so on. She tried very hard. Maybe the biggest hint she dropped was as she made Loki 'accidentally' (on purpose) fall off a building, making it possible for Iron Man to get his scepter. As Loki took a run, Barnes and Luisa disappeared as well.

It had been a while since she and Bucky went down under. They were living together in a small flat. For some time, Fury was contacting her to get them for a group called the 'Avengers'.

Bucky was making something to eat and talking without care. The time, being away from Hydra and the constant treatments, was good for him. The first month, he was mopping around, filled with self-pity. Now, he had started to heal from the inside and the out.

Luisa was smiling at her friend. She was happy to be able to help someone to live on their own again. It was what she always wanted to do. She wanted to help the ones who couldn't help themselves.

"Hey Bucky," she said. Keeping the pan moving, he turned to face her.

"What do you think about helping others," she asked.

"Well... I think there are a lot of people out there who need help," he answered honestly.

"What would you say, if we teamed up with some others and try to do some good. Using our abilities for something else than before. To fight for what is right?" Luisa asked further, playing nervously with her hair.

"The man with the missing eye asked you for us to join this organization again, didn't he?" Bucky asked, his back facing her now again. Silently, the young woman watched him. He turned around once more, arms crossed over his torso, leaning his hip against the kitchen island. His eyes watched her playing with one of her locks.

"You want to join them, don't you?" he asked again, a hint of amusement in his voice. Looking him in the eyes, she nodded slowly. She really wanted it.

"If this is what you want, I'm coming with you," he concluded. Luisa's face lit up, her lips morphing into a bright smile.

"You've saved my life more times than I could count. Following you wherever you go is the only thing I can do. So, I will." More than happy she jumped into his arms.
