PROLOGUE
"Jaycee Clavio.." ani ng judge.
He couldn't speak up. He couldn't make a move nor he cannot lift his head up. He stared deeply on his feet, his dirty feet.
"You will be sent to prison for selling illegal drugs. The court is dismissed!"
He clenched his hands into a fist. What has he gotten into? What happened to him? Why him? His tongue is like pulling backwards— he couldn't protest nor he couldn't explain what really happen.
It wasn't his fault.
"No! Kuya JP!" biglaang pagbulyaw ni Jason, kapagkuwan na napaangat ng kaonti ang ulo ni Jaycee sa kaniyang bunsong kapatid.
"You couldn't do that to Jaycee! Di ako papayag!"
There was a tremble in his voice. Jason knows what Jaycee did, and he knows why he needed to do it.. "Wala siyang ginawang masama!" anito nang nakatayo habang dinuduro si Jaycee.
He stared at Jason, deeply hurt and scared. There was weakness in his eyes. He hated the feeling of being broken, so broken. He couldn't master the art of showing no emotion.. He hated letting Jason see what he really feels. He hated how he notices his tired and weak eyes.
He has always been so loyal to Jaycee. Nonetheless, they've always been like twins ever since. Jason has been always true to him but Jaycee...
He just wanted to protect Jason.
"Jaycee! Tell them!" bumalin si Jason kay Jaycee. His eyes, full of sorrow and sadness.
No.. Jason.
"Sabihin mo sa kanila na nasangkot ka lang!" Jason.. Stop.
"Wala kang kasalanan diba?"
Jp whispered something that made Jason suddenly choke the collar of his shirt, "sabihin mong walang kasalanan si Jaycee! Why can't you-"
"I am guilty for selling illegal drugs," Jaycee spoke up. His voice, so cold, so weak.. This isn't the Jaycee they know..
Jason froze upon hearing his brother's raspy voice. JP turned to Jaycee.
"The court is dismissed."
