chapter 1: the time machine

Summer 2024
Rosechester school

It was a summer like any other,flowers were blooming birds were singing and it was getting hot so we needed to wear our summer school uniforms.Our english lesson ended so we needed to go to the schools courtyard for fresh air,but me and my friends had a difrent plan,we were gonna go to the libary.

"Were gonna get caught."said one of my friends Faziah in an angry tone

"No were not.We had been doing this for months and the teachers never found out!"said her twin Iris

"What are we gonna do in a libary anyway?!"

"I don't know,we can just chill."said one of my guy friends Delmar

"Or maybe you can read a book?" I said while touching her shoulder

"OH HELL NO!" She screamed "I AM NOT READING THAT BORING SHIT!"

"Ok chill miss girl lim not forcing you." I said camly "When was the last time you read a book anyway?"i asked Faziah

"I don't remember, like 2 years Ago?"
"Damn..."wispered Delmar

"Come on guys you're wasting time!Quick let's go!"said Iris as she was running to the libary

Libary

As we all arived at the libary everyone wen't to diffrent places.Delmar,Iris and my brother Alexander wen't to the sofa's to take a break from the 4 lessons we had.Faziah wen't to sit next to my brother Alexander.
Me,my friend Mei,and my best friend Sabrina wen't to look at the new books.

"HOLY SHIT THEY HAVE PHILIPA GREGORY"screamed Sabrina

"You didin't know that?" I said

"No."

"Then you must be living under a rock."

"Wow rude."

"But hey its true!

"Not gonna lie it is."

Me and Sabrina have been best friends since 7th grade and we still are.We are now both 18

"Yall look at this shit!"said Mei

"What?"i asked

"Ya now the scientist's and the historian's
that teamed up in 2022 and tried to make time machine's?"

"Yea?"said Sabrina

"Well i found this newspaper and it says that they actualy made them IN 2 YEARS!"

"That's bullshit." Says Sabrina

"What makes you think so?" I said
"Becouse they couldn't make a time machine in 2 years,its impossible!"

"How do you know that?"

"I don't know it just seems weird and manipulative.

"Hey you twats!The next lesson is gonna start in 5 minutes let's go back to class!" Screamed Faziah

"OK YOU PILLOCK!"i screamed back at her

Thank god that we all arived to class in time.But i was still thinking about the newspaper that i saw,how could they have build so many time machine's in just 2 years?It's really weird...

"What's the next lesson?" Mei asked me

"Uhhh...History." i said

"Oh!Alright!"
