                               Time

Harmony was just another girl at her pre-k-12 school. Nobody noticed her until one day a new boy came to the school. Here is that story.                     Harmony Yasper was always quiet. When it came to hanging out with her friends Mei Yang, Sarah D'Amobaello, Tesse Scolopt, and Hannah Sarentinolitonia, Harmony always stood out of the group. Maybe because she was in a wheelchair or maybe because she is bald. Who knows?                          When Harmony was 3 a doctor diagnosed her with leg cancer and it never went away. Her life is on very thin lining. The doctor said that she should've died 4 years ago, but she didn't. Now that I've talked, let's let Harmony tell the rest of the story.                                     I was in 7th grade and I had 4 friends Mei, Sarah, Tesse, and Hannah who were very helpful. When I came into school one day I noticed something was different. I looked and looked and finally I came across it. Sarah wasn't at school that day or any of the rest of the days for 2 weeks. In her place was a boy named Christian Chin. After he came to the school, Mei started to turn on me so I just let her go from our little group. Then Sarah came back and said she was on a cruise.                                   3 days later another boy came to the school named David Smith. After he came to the school, Tesse started hanging out with him so I let her go from our little group, too.1 week later another boy came named Anthony D'Sairprino. Sarah went after him so I let her go from the group as well. It was just me and Hannah when she left the group and we never spoke again. It was just me and I was lonely.                                 One day a boy named Jackson Hunter went up to me and started talking to me. I just answered his question and I was completely surprised when he invited me over to his table.                                 " Hey guys this is Harmony, she will be sitting at our table for a while." he smiled at me.                               I had no mom or dad. I lived with my Aunt Hazel. I had 1 sibling. An older sister named Melody. She was always out with her friends. Aunt Hazel was always home though. I could talk to her about everything. Not that I would but sometimes it feels good to get some things off your chest. We had a pretty good relationship.                                      I walked in the door and found Aunt Hazel. I walked right by her, into my room, and did my 6 pages of homework for the rest of the night. That night Melody fell on her neck at dance and Aunt Hazel had to bring her to the ER. I had to stay home with Uncle Augustus. That week was halloween and he didn't care that I didn't have a costume yet. While I was taking a bath to soothe myself water went through the waterproof case I got for my kindle and now it is water damaged.                                    I am so mad at myself and I don't know how to tell Aunt Hazel. Can you help me?  Anyway lets get back to the real story.                                      Jackson kept inviting me over to his table. Finally I said no. I mean I needed to make more friends than just Jackson and his friends. So I left their group for a little while while I mingled with some new people. That night Aunt Hazel and Uncle Augustus told me that I had a long lost brother who was 24 now and he was finally coming home. His name was Mason. He was in the Navy.                                             2 months later Mason came home and brought me and Melody a present. Mine was a remote control helicopter and Melody's was a big package of nail polish. I brought the present with me to school on Monday and when I walked into the cafeteria everybody was staring at me like I did something wrong. I looked on my phone and found a very embarrassing picture of me with Jackson. Even he was laughing.                                  When I got home I didn't tell Aunt Hazel or Uncle Augustus. When I walked in the door I was crying too much to even talk to myself. I had no friends to talk to so it was decided. For years Aunt Hazel has wanted to homeschool me but I didn't want to. Now I could tell her that it was time.                                  From then on I was homeschooled and never went face-to-face with anyone I used to know. Or did I? What do you think?
