My Little Lupical

Or so I've heard about the mysterious wolf boy. "Without any parents or proper care, how did that poor child make it so far?", I wondered. If my little girl was in that situation, I'm sure I would've crawled out of my grave to take care of her. But alas, what good would it do anyway. Having inherited her mother's frail body she keeps getting sick frequently. It worries me to death! What if I were to die someday in an adventure? Who would take care of my Mia? I might die just by thinking of all that. But I'll have to stay strong. After all, she has only me to depend on after my beloved's passing. Oh, how I wish I could join her in the afterlife- Sitting on the clouds, admiring the view of the entire Teyvat...

Just then, my train of thought got interrupted by Mia's voice from behind. "Daddy! The pan!"I glanced down to find that the pan was on fire.

"Oh, Barbatos!", I exclaimed as I took the pan off the heat and quickly extinguished the fire.

"Whew! That was a close call!"

"Daddy the eggs..."

"Oh, I'm so sorry,  dear. Let me try again."

I grabbed the egg basket but it was empty.

"Dad, I'm hungry!"

"Ah! Okay, Mia. Let's get something from Good Hunter!"

"Yay!"

After a hearty breakfast from Good Hunter, I left Mia at one of her friends' place and went straight to the Adventurers' guild.

"Ad astra abyssosque. Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild, Mr. Roth ", Katheryne greeted.

"Here are your commissions for the day. "

"Thank you Miss Katheryne. Also uhhh..."

"Hmm? Is something the matter?"

"Actually, I'd like to post a commission myself today. "

"I see. Very well then. Please fill out this form"

I took the form and quickly filled it out.

"Here you go, miss."

Since there are not many commissions today, I'll put up yours right away."

"Thank you."

Just then, I heard a voice from behind-

"Hello, Katheryne! How are you today?"

I turned around and saw it was the famous traveler- the honorary knight!

"Ad astra abyssosque. I'm quite well. Thank you. Here are your commissions for the day.

The honorary knight looked at the commissions.

"Let's see what we have today. Help find some cats, pick some sweet flowers, clear out the hilichurl camp and-

oh, what's this? Find 14 red wolfhooks and give them to Mr. Roth?"

"14 red wolfhooks? Aren't they quite hard to find? Especially around this time of the year?", said the little girl floating beside the traveler.

"Uhh hello. I'm Axel Roth- an adventurer. That commission is posted by me."
