"Repeat after me,'Bonjour, comment allez-vous?'" I look up at my french teacher and copy her words. "Can anyone tell me what that means?" I think about it and put my hand up slowly. "Emma?"

"Hello, How are you?" She smiles at me and nods. French is honestly the easiest subject next to History.

"Very good. But that is only the simple stuff." She sighs. I feel a tap on my my shoulder and turn around to see Cam poking me with a pen. He smirks when I blush. I can't believe I'm blushing over this damn demon spawn.

"Watch this." he says as he raises his hand. Ms.Groian looks delighted someone besides me put their hand up.

"I'm pretty good at french. I've been learning for awhile," he says to her. She raises her eyebrows and waves her hand for him to continue. "Madame, je ai appris français pendant un certain temps , donc si vous avez besoin de moi pour aider je suis libre." The whole class goes silent and Madame Groian looks at Cam and smiles. I can make out most of the sentence. 'I've been learning french for while and I don't mind helping out.' That's kinda sweet of him I guess. I feel like theirs an ulterior motive though. The bell rings signalling the end of the day. I begin to pack my stuff as Cam pokes me with his pen for the 100th time this lesson. I'm going to snap.

"I'll see you again Emma, Until next time." He winks at me before getting up to walk out. I count to 10 and follow.

Jon takes me home in his awesome convertible but there's one downside. Ryan's in the back seat screaming the lyrics to Lithium by Nirvana and slowly head banging. I roll my eyes and look at Jon.

"Did we really need to bring him home with us?" I ask, frowning as Ryan leans forward and turns the music up trying to drown out my objections.

"Yes, he is my best friend and I'm responsible for him." He shouts over the music. Ryan pokes me with a stick he found earlier and I glare at him. I've very over being poked at today.

"A stick. Really Ryan. Jonathan please do something about this." Ryan pokes his tongue out and me and I roll my eyes for the millionth time in this car ride. "Mature." I say. He winks at me and uses the same stick as a drum stick.  Jon pulls into the driveway and jumps over the car door.

"Mom! We're home!" Jon shouts through the open door. I smile to myself and walk inside with Ryan behind me carrying his guitar. My Mom looks at us and smiles.

"Hey guys, How as school." she asks. I look at my Mother. I look like her, She's prettier, but I have her hair and bone structure. Jonathan looks like Mom too but he has Dad's eyes. Almost purple. You can tell we're twins by our odd eye colours. Mine are a bright emerald green and his are a dark purple. According to Mom, Dad had all the girls in college falling head over heels, But he only had eyes for my Mother.

"It was alright," he says. "I got a C on my essay. I worked so hard on it" He pouts. You're kidding! I ended up doing all of it for half price! He looks at me and I glare at him. Mom walks over and hugs him.

"Aww you poor thing," She coos. Oh my god. she can't believe that act. "Sweetie, why don't we go to the store and buy some cement?" Jonathan looks up confused.

"Why?" he asks. I grin and look at Mom.

"So you can toughen up." Jon glares at us and runs up the stairs to find Ryan. Mom and I start laughing.

(Cam's POV)

I remember silence. The moment I fell from heaven was long and quiet. My soul felt like it was crumbling piece by piece into an unknown darkness and it was painful. Then came the feeling of falling, a drop even my wings couldn't prevent. I knew I wasn't truly alone. Others had fallen along with me, but at that very moment, in the darkness, I was alone. I was filled with an urge to find something. Someone. I urged to feel whole again. The only thing I could feel was a void of darkness inside darkness. All I could do was fall.

"Cam?" I looked up at Arriane's face and frowned. She looked at me and gave me a sad smile. "I get them too. It's too bad we can't talk to a shrink huh?" She giggled to herself. "We'd get locked up in mental hospital." I gave a small smile as she walked over to the sofa I was laying on.

"We found them. I can't believe we found them. Now all we need to do is find Daniel and Luce." Arriane nodded and sat next to me.

"I don't know if we can do this. I really don't. It's wrong." I grabbed her hand and squeezed it. She smiled sadly.

"It's the whole reason we're here. If we do this right. We can finally go home. We don't have to ask for the Throne's forgiveness. We'll be accepted again."

"How are we going to do this then Cam? It's not going to be easy." Arriane stood up, shaking her head.

"Ari, sweet sweet Ari, I have a plan." I smirk.
