Jungkook sat on the seat patiently waiting for the male to wake up. Hospitals were always so depressing, there was no reason to be happy in a hospital, no matter who the person was hospitals were not a place to be happy. You have the odd occasion of a child being birthed, or someone was free of cancer, but other than that there wasn't many reasons to be happy. So I guess you could say Jungkook was feeling the hospital depression, if you want to call it that.

"Kook" there was a whisper.
"Hey I'm here" Jungkook quickly said to the elder when he noticed the older waking up. "Are you okay? How are you feeling?" Jungkook was quick to ask.
"Okay just tired" Taehyung groaned.
"Well the doctor said that you would be okay going home. Do you have someone at home?" Jungkook asked.
"No I live alone, why do you ask?" Taehyung frowned.

"Well the doctor also said you can't be left alone for more than 3 minutes as you could possibly have a seizure at worst case. Would you rather go to your place or my flat?"
"Huh, no Jungkook, you've done enough already, I can't burden you anymore" Taehyung shook his head.
"I'm doing this out of choice, I'm not going to leave you by yourself when you're at risk of having a seizure. You're not a burden to me, I promise you that. So let me help and choose"

Taehyung went quiet and looked at the blank wall in front of him. He sighed and fidgeted in his place.
"My apartment" Taehyung whispered out, trying not to damage his pride when saying it, he can never accept help from people, he finds it so difficult.
"Okay, well let me get the all clear from the doctor and then we can head to yours"

As Jungkook was about to walk off Tae grabbed the boys wrists lightly but enough to stop him. He looked back and saw Taehyung looking at him directly in the eyes.
"Thank you...for everything"
Jungkook smiled at him with a nod.
"I'll be back" Jungkook walked out of the room, trying to stop his unnecessary pouring heart and went to find a doctor.

Once given the all clear they walked out of the hospital with Jungkook's help again because he struggled a little a bit. Because the paramedics took them there, Jungkook had called for a cab which took them to Taehyung's apartment. Jungkook was in complete shock in seeing how amazing and expensive they must be, it definitely couldn't be classed as an apartment, it was more a whole load of penthouses.

When they got on to the elevator there was an awkward silence. Taehyung was fucking nervous. One no one had ever come to his penthouse before and two he had only just remember about the state it would be in.

"Jungkook, before you go in, it's-just don't jump to conclusions, I, it's nothing just don't say anything" Taehyung was honestly on the verge of having a full melt down.
"It's fine, don't stress, I'm here for you remember, I'm not going to judge" Jungkook reassured him but he knew that the second they step in he would judge and would be ashamed.
With Taehyung knowing that he would be ashamed made him feel even more disgusted in himself.

Before he could think anymore the lift stopped and he did his password and walked in. His eyes scanned the room and saw the cans and bottles scattered around along with the empty cups of instant ramen. Taehyung shut his eyes waiting ready for the judgement to fall out of the younger's mouth.

However, it never came. And instead what he got was a hug. A fucking hug. He had never expected that out of everything. Taehyung hugged back feeling overwhelmed. Jungkook did see the mess and did see the number of bottle and cans, and he only just realised how big of a problem Taehyung's drinking habits must have been, however he wasn't going to judge. He knew that something traumatic had happened to Taehyung for him to be here, so because of this he wasn't going to judge.

When he looked at Taehyung, he could see the pained face, almost scared of what his reaction would be and his arms were tight in fists. Jungkook unintentionally pouted when seeing the sight of the male in so much fear, so he quickly reacted to him by giving him a hug.

They stood there in each other's embrace, with Taehyung's boundaries being fully broken. Taehyung hadn't had the amount of comfort he's had in the last 24 hours for years, and honestly he couldn't believe how much it made a difference. For someone to be able to hold you, and pull you in to their embrace without them caring if you are 'cold' or 'don't look approachable'. The warmth and safety one hug can give speaks a thousand words.

"Let's get you to bed, so you can rest and I'll make some food" Jungkook suggested taking Taehyung by the hand and pulling him upstairs. Taehyung followed with a unreadable face, until he realised Jungkook had no idea where he was going and so Taehyung pulled him in the right direction because the penthouse was huge.

His room wasn't any better, in fact it was worse than down stairs, it was a mess. Taehyung but his lip trying so hard not to cry because he had never ever shown anyone this side of his life. This was one of his many secrets and now it's out he can't help but feel frightened.

Jungkook looked at the room and tried his everything not to sigh but one escaped.
"Oh Tae, everything is okay, I'm not judging you, worried if anything. Now come on let's get you into bed you need to rest" Jungkook rubbed his back softly.

These past 24 hours have been completely crazy and unexpected. The bond between two people have changed drastically and it's unexplainable because it's so out of the ordinary.

Taehyung didn't say a word and followed the words of the younger and got into his king sized bed.
"Do you want to sleep for a bit? I can't leave you alone so you can take a nap then we can make food later, are you happy with that?" Jungkook questioned as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"Yeah- Kook do you mind, uhm staying with me, it's just that-"
"You don't need to explain yourself Tae, of course I will stay" Jungkook smiled.

He shuffled next to the boy and let Taehyung lay down. Jungkook slowly brought his hand to the elders hair and began to rake his fingers through the strands.

Jungkook couldn't help but wonder off into his own thoughts. Society hides away men's mental health. They make it seem that men have to be strong, they aren't allowed to feel sad, they aren't allowed to cry, because it makes them weak and apparently men can't be weak.

But this, this showed that men can feel sad, even those who look the strongest and act the strongest and bravest have their moments of weakness. And weakness isn't a bad thing, if anything weakness is a strength, it shows that even at your times of sorrow, you are strong enough to push through.

Those who look the coldest, act the rudest, might only be trying to discard the empty, and weak feeling, which shouldn't need to happen. They should feel free to show emotion whenever they want, just like everyone else.

Jungkook himself struggled with emotions and he was brought up to know that if a man cries he's pathetic and weak but he was more mature and knew that wasn't the case, and now he taking it upon himself to show Taehyung that. He could clearly see that Taehyung lacked comfort, a person to show him that he wasn't alone and it's okay not to be okay and he was going to do whatever it takes to show him he's not alone.

And this is where their journey began...
