"Happy Birthday!" your friends yelled. You blew out your candles and started taking them out, with the help of Emma. You were celebrating your birthday with your three awesome friends: Grace, Emma and Jessica. You were just expecting a little cupcake and a candle but they went all out and made you a (favorite flavor) cake with candles and your name with little flowers on the corner. You were a little upset since your boyfriend, Matthew, told you he'd spend your birthday with you, but he called you this morning to say that his brother needed some help and he couldn't make it to your house. You cried for, like, an hour until Grace and Emma busted open your door and Jessica was holding the cake with candles and forgot about Matthew for a while. You sighed and started opening Emma's present to you.

"A Manga Pop?" you asked. You've never seen it before and had no clue about it.

"It's like a how-to-draw manga style thing. You like to draw so I figured you'd love it." Emma said, stuffing some cake into her mouth. "This is good cake."

"I never knew it existed but thanks." You put the Manga Pop on the table and noticed there was something else in there. It looked like a tablet. "Is this a tablet?"

"A lot of amazing artists on Tumblr use tablets to draw amazing pictures and I was like '(Name) can use this to draw on the computer' since you're good at it, and I think you should show people on the internet your artwork."

"Wow, thank you. Really. This is... expensive and very thoughtful. Oh my god, do you need me to pay you some money or something?"

"No! Please, it's your birthday!"

"Alright, who's present is next?"

"Mine!" Grace said. She gave you a big bag and it had SnK on it. You took out the paper and squealed at when was in there. You've been asking for them ever since they came out.

"You got me the entire season of Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill and Kuroko no Basket! I haven't had enough money to buy them!"

"Yeah, my mom gives me allowance and my grandma gave me some money to buy some clothes and I used it to buy anime for you and we have to watch it with you, of course." Grace said, drinking some Dr. Pepper.

"I love it, really, thank you." You were scared to see what Jessica bought you. Last year, she bought you an old porcelain doll that said your name and freaked you out. For Christmas, she bought you a fake head and a fake leg she had from Halloween. You screamed and knocked it off while Jessica and her 'friend' laughed their asses off. "Do I have to open yours?"

"Yes, and I promise it will be harmless and non-scary." Jessica said. She was sitting there drinking her water while looking at something on her phone. Or texting, either way she was doing something on her phone. You sighed and opened up her present, closing your eyes in case of something. You looked to see Japanese soda bottles and some pocky with a card. You took out the card and read it out loud: "Here's to a woman everyone hates..." you said, getting really offended. You decided to see what was on the inside. "...to forget on her birthday. Especially me. Happy Birthday." You finished reading and smiled at Jessica who just smiled back.

"It's not scary, is it?" Emma asked. She was a wimp when it came to scary things. Jessica tried to get her to play Five Nights at Freddy's and she freaked out on Night 1.

"No, it's pocky and Ramune bottles."

"OH MY GOD I LOVE THOSE!" Grace screamed.

"I like my ears when they're working, thank you very much."

"Oh, sorry."

"How about we play a game on the Wii?" Jessica suggested, putting her phone in her bra.
