blind date

First meeting

not your ordenary blind date where your being set up by, a friend,family member or a person you know. This blind date is within an app where you will set a profile and when the app finds a compatible profile on their app they will set you up. A chaperone will arrive at the pick up site where they will ask you to wear a blindfold and they will take you on a restaurant where its peach black and you cant see your date. its agenda is to find a partner thats more than the visuals,the fashion and physical features. to find a person thats more than what meets the eye,to have a stronger bond because if you only have darkness around you, you have to rely on your other senses,you have to learn to trust the person your talking too,it will hightened the senses to get to know the person infront of you.

Stell decided to sign in because its been a year since his last relationship and was too busy to mingle to find a date.

Pablo on the other hand was signed in the app by his sisters and mother.  3 years have passed since he was heart broken by his ex girlfriend who left him when life got hard, she just decided to let go of pablo  and go to greener pasture.

when stell arrive at the pick up site he had second thoughts and was scared that maybe this was a scam and youll be taken, be taken advantage off, hurt or raped.
but that changed when the chaperone showed  her credential even let him take a picture of her I.D to send to a friend or to a family member to give assurance that he will be safe. as stell enters the service car he was asked by rose the chaperone to wear a blindfold.

Pablo was irritated by what her mom and sisters did, signing him on a dating app with no assurance of how will his date look. and he made sure to his family that he has no interest in dating,but still had to go because he doesnt want to make his date  feel unwanted and unworthy because he knows how bad it hurts. how can it  affect your self esteem and self  concept.

a black van arrived at the pick up site,where a beautiful woman stepped down, pablo smiled and thought it was his date,but was dissapointed to know that she was only the chaperone xi. after xi showed her credential and guide pablo to enter the car  xi asked pablo to wear a blindfold.  suddenly pablo feels both nervous and excited.

3rd PPOV
Stell arrived at the restaurant first he was guided inside to the designated seat for him and his  blind date. stell was patiently waiting until he heard a voice asking if this was a scam or a prank,because how will you be able to eat properly if the restaurant is peach black, he chuckled. clearly the person didnt know what he signed for.

3rd PPOV
Few seconds the table was shaken by a sudden movement of a person sitting a the chair near him, Stell thoughts were, its probably his date. Stell decided to break the ice.

S: Hi im stell..
P: hmm hi im Pablo

(xi and rose)
so stell, this is pablo your blind date your both encourage to chat, touch, and  eat what weve prepared for you and oh enjoy each others company. after this we will ask you about your experience either yoy want this date to end and go home,or you want to go somewhere else to spend more time with each other. you can take off your blindfold, but fair warning its still peach dark and you will not be able to see each others face maybe just silhouette.

as they take off the blindfold their eyes adjust to the darkness, but both smiled at the persin infront of them.

S: hi ( shy but hopefull smile)

3rd PPOV
the food came and they started to eat, everything was simple yet very delicious and filling. they were served with chicken,pizza, some jalapeno poppers, potato skin,pigs in a blanket and some egg tarts and cream puffs with strawberry for deasert which stell enjoyed so much. and some wine and water in a plastic container with plastic seal and straw so it wont spill.

in between eating they made small chit chats, they started with your usual conversation during first dates, the likes and dis likes, about how they were doing on their respective jobs and even on  a more deeper conversation like about their past relationship, they felt at eased with each other probably because they cant see each others reaction so they dont feel awkward talking about everthing. they laugh at every little jokes stell make and stell was astound at how smart pablo was. both of them thinking of what to do next will they go home and call it a night or continue with their date and find out if they are really compatible.
