A year has passed. I was still in Beacon Hills. Stiles, Scott and I were best friends. I saw Stiles as a younger brother. The boys also knew I was a vampire. Yeah, that day was interesting to say the least.

Flashback

It's been a month since moving to Beacon Hills. It was currently dark and the middle of the night. I assumed that Noah and Stiles were asleep so I snuck out the window to go hunting. I went to the reserve. As I was hunting, I heard screams. I looked up from the deer I was feeding on and saw the boys. They began to run. I appeared in front of them.

"It's not what it looks like"

"You're a vampire!"

"Okay, so it is what it looks like but let me explain, please. I won't hurt you. I promise."

They looked unsure but nodded.

"I don't feed from humans. That's why my eyes are gold. I will answer every question you two have if you promise not to tell anyone. Please. You cannot tell anyone about me."

"Are there more of you? Like...do they feed like you?'

"Yes. My family up in Washington and another family up in Alaska"

Flashback over

Since then, Stiles has called me vampy. For the Summer I went back to Washington to spend time with my family but I just got back. Stiles and Scott didn't know.

When I got home, I opened the door. It was quiet. I went up to my room and unpacked my clothes. I had gotten new clothes thanks to Alice. I knew a shopping trip with Lydia was close however. Her and I have gotten close. We're best friends now. I hated her boyfriend Jackson though.

I sniffed the air and I knew Stiles was at Scott's. I ran over. I heard them screaming.

"What are you two yahoo's screaming about?"

They screamed again.

"June?"

"Who else would it be. I just got back from Washington. Why are you hanging upside down?"

"That's what I want to know"

"You weren't answering your phone. Why do you have a bat?"

"I thought you were a predator"

"A pre...what?'

I smirked. "If anything I'm the predator"

Stiles waved in my direction. "Vampy here said it"

I rolled my eyes at the nickname but didn't say anything.

"Look, I know it's late, but you gotta hear this. I saw my dad leave twenty minutes ago. Dispatch called---there bringing in every officer from the Beacon department. Even state police"

"For what?"

"Two joggers found a body in the woods"

I began trying to help Stiles down. Surprisingly, he lands on his feet.

"What, a dead body?"

"No, a body of water. Yes, dumbass, a dead body"

"You mean, like, murdered?"

"Nobody knows yet. Just that it was a girl, probably in her twenties"

"Hold on, if they found a body, then what are they looking for?"
