Give Me That Title
Raura one shot
"Come I want to show you something," he said with a genuine smile while offering her his hand.
"Where are we going?" she asked curiously as she reluctantly put her tiny hand in his.
"You'll see, now come on," he intertwined their fingers as he dragged her down the narrow dark hallway that leads to a staircase at the end. Before she could take a step into the staircase, he picked her up bridal style while a surprised yelp escape her mouth.
"I can walk you know," she chuckled but snuggled into him as he climbed the stairs that led to two wide golden doors.
"I know," the corner of his lips shot up into a smirk causing her lips to let out a giggle. He finally put her down gently when they reached the doors at the top. He turned to her with a grin on his face.
"Ready?" he asked even if he already knew the answer. She nodded eagerly, curiosity taking over her about what was behind the golden polished doors. Knowing her curiosity, he took out a set of keys out of his pocket and insert one into the lock before pushing the door open. She let out a gasp and agape at the sight.
The room was filled with myriads of different types of plants and flowers. The moon reflected the numerous colors making the flower petals radiant and glimmered. He led her to a small spiral staircase in the middle of the garden and she stood on the steps scrutinizing the entire room. She saw something flickering and drifted her eyes downward to where Ross was holding a cut apple with a candle that was lit in the middle of it.
"Happy birthday," he said scratching the back of his neck. "Sorry we don't have cake here but I thought it was better than nothing."
"I was expecting nothing so thank you," she smiled up at him.
"Everyone should at least get something on their birthday," he said with a small shrug of his shoulder.
"What do you get for your birthday?" she asked.
"Instruments and books mostly," he said. "But I never got what I wanted though. Well until now at least."
"And what would that be," she raised an eyebrow skyward. He flushed and looked away ignoring her question when the sound of a bell rung.
"Midnight," he said. "Look."
He nodded towards the direction he wanted her to look. She turned her head to look and just a moment later she watched mesmerized by the view. Flowers started to bloom slowly releasing various of different types of colors that lit up the whole garden under the radiation of the twilight lunar. She turned her head back towards Ross and found him already looking in her direction. Her breath hitched at the back of her throat as her heartbeat grew with lightning speed. She could hear her heart thumping a mile a minute inside her ears and she was afraid he could hear it as well. His face was so close from hers that she could feel his minty breath mixing with her own sending shivers down her spine.
His right hand intertwined itself with her left one while his other hand reached up to brush the strand of hair that had fallen to block his view of her dazzling sparkly chocolate brown eyes. For a split second, his eyes drifted to her lips before it looks back up to her eyes. He asked for her permission with his eyes and she slightly nodded making her nose brush lightly against his. It was then where he leaned in and closed the small gap between their lips and let his free hand cupped her cheek gently as he added a little more pressure into the kiss.
She sighed a little melting herself into the magical kiss that made her knees buckle and she put her hands on his chest for support. She could feel his rapid beating heart and his muscles stiffening under her touch. She added a little more pressure into the kiss making it more passionate as her hands entangle themselves in his blonde locks tugging at it slightly making him escape a small gasp. A breathy giggle escaped her lips when she felt water sprinkling soaking them both wet as they both got lost in their heavenly moment. It only caused her to pull him closer giving him one last peck before pulling away and resting her head against his chest with a gigantic grin on her face. She felt his hand strokes her hair gently before his lips made contact with her hair and she closed her eyes cherishing the moment.
"We should probably go," he said chuckling. She nodded in agreement and let go before taking his hand and walked down the steps. They walked out of the greenhouse soaking wet with idiotic grins on their faces.
"Sorry about that," he laughed. "I didn't expect the sprinklers to come on."
"It's okay. We should do it again sometime," she winked.
"Sure why not," he smirked before leaning in for a quick kiss but she placed her index finger on his lips stopping him.
"Nah ah ah," she smirked. "Since when have I given you the honor of kissing me freely? I'm not officially titled yet."
"Well then," he smirked as well before going down on one knee taking her hand and kissed it lightly. "Laura Marie Marano, will you make me the happiest man alive by staying with me forever and becoming my girlfriend?"
"Hmm let me think," she teased and pretended to think. "On one condition."
"And what would that be, Princess?" he asked.
"I get to be the girlfriend."
