"Hurry!!" I yelled at my best friend Graci who was an international pop star. "I'm coming I'm coming!" She said walking down the stairs in a black dress that had gold chain straps. I was wearing a slick red dress that had black lace details over it. "Abigail, really? Sneakers?" Graci said calling me by my name. I looked down to my red and black Air Jordan 1's and giggled. "You have to remember we're going to an award show that Austin's going to be at," I confessed.

Even before Graci got all of her fame, i was in love with Austin. When I say I was in love with him, I mean like not just fan love, no one understands me when I say that. I'm so underestimated for that. There's a difference between being in love with someone and being in love with a celebrity. Even though Austin was still Austin Mahone, I didn't care about that. I loved Austin, that sweet Texas boy. He's now 24, and he'll be 25 in April. I'm 19 I just turned 19.

I've met Austin before but he always seemed to feel weird around me since I was under 18. Graci excepted the fact that I was wearing sneakers and we left. My heart rate got faster as we got closer to the venue where the award show would be held. It was at the forum in Los Angels, California. This award show was very important to Graci because for the first time, she was nominated for 4 awards tonight. We were going to the American Music Awards.

"Are you okay?" Graci asked me looking at me concerned. I looked back at her and smiled really big nodding my head yes. "Yeah I'm just perfectly fine," I said as she giggled. We pulled up to the venue as my heart raced not knowing what was going to happen next. I twirled every ring on my finger I would say about 6 times. "Abigail you don't look okay, just tell me what's up," Graci said to me making me break from my day dream.

"Honestly I'm perfectly fine, just a little nervous," I said looking out the window seeing serval screaming girls and other celebrities talking to each other. I was looking all through out the crowd. I was determined to find his eyes before he found mine. I was scanning around and soon I saw one of his best friends, Alex. Graci and I were escorted to the carpets where she went to go take pictures while I went over to talk to Alex. As I walked up to him he waved at me very generously. I decided after he did that not to go up to him.

I kept looking around until I met a pair of hazel green eyes. As he flashed his million dollar smile at me, my heart flew. It's like all I could see was him. Everyone else around me disappeared. He was talking to his manager but his eyes did not leave mine for a good 30 or 45 seconds. I thought that was all I was going to see of Austin. He told his manager something and started walking towards me. I stood where I was looking down at my shoes hoping he would notice them.

I saw him pushing through people as fast as he could to get to me. Soon he tripped over a black wire that was under this beautiful red carpet. I started laughing and so did he. His face turned bright red. I admired him as he got closer to me. Finally real facial hair, white tux that was almost like a suit coat and white jeans, his red sneakers bright as ever, and his hair long and perfectly straight. No curls, no holes, no nothing. Perfectly straight. I'd only seen his hair like this a few times.

He continued walking up to me. Once he was right in front of me our eyes fully connected. Austin stuck his hand out for me to shake and I gladly excepted. "Hi, I'm Austin. We met about a year ago at the kids choice awards but we didn't get much time to talk," Austin said causing me to smile. "No we didn't, I'm Abigail," I said smiling again as he smiled. Austin looked down and I hoped he would notice my sneakers but he didn't say anything.

"How have you been?" He asked me. I shrugged. "I've been really good," I said. He nodded. "How about yourself?" I asked him. "I've been pretty good. Busy with music and things," Austin said laughing a bit. My heart flew even more when he laughed. "I'm glad!" I said. He laughed again. I kept looking deep into his eyes as the sun shone just perfectly to make his eyes glisten. As he smiled his teeth were so white they almost blinded you. I heard someone call his name and he turned around.

It was one of his best friends, Zach. "I probably should go, I'll talk to you later Abigail," Austin said. He laid his arms friendly over my shoulders hugging me as I hugged him back. "Okay! Talk to you later," I said as we broke the hug. He smiled and went on. I walked back over to Graci who was talking with other celebrities and things. Soon we all went inside and found out seats. I quickly found Austin but I was pushed to my seat by a security guard.

We sat down and the awards started. I was bored out of my mind until one of Graci's awards came up. My hands got hot and I was focused on that she would win. The announcer said her name and my heart dropped I stood up and hugged her and she ran on the stage. I looked back over at Austin's seat which was empty. As soon as I turned my head back around, Austin was sitting in Graci's seat. "Mind if I sit here?" He asked me. I laughed and nodded no. Austin laughed back. "Here's my number, I wanted to give it to you earlier but I couldn't find any paper," he said handing me what looked like a paper towel.

I laughed at the fact he didn't just ask for my phone. "You found paper just to give me you number?" I asked him. He started blushing. "Yeah," he said looking down. I felt his eyes lock on my feet which meant that that argument with Graci was worth it. "Are those Retro Air Jordan 1's?" Austin asked me causing me to smile. "Yes they are," I said laughing. "They're so cool, I have ones just like those!" He said. "I like yours too," I said. Once I said that, I could tell he knew he had made the right decision to give me his number.

"Thank you," Austin said smiling. "You're welcome," I said. I looked up to see Graci standing by Austin. "Austin really?" She asked laughing. "Go sit in my seat or something like that," Austin said not breaking eye contact with me. "Alright," Graci sighed walking over to his seat. I laughed. "You sure know you're way around Austin," I said continuing to laugh. Austin looked down and then back up at me. I smiled and felt my cheeks heat up.
