"You will never be...a god."

"Loki, no!" you scream, voice being met with the sound of bones being crushed, making you cry out.

"No resurrections this time."

And that's when you wake up.

Breathing heavily, you shoot up out the makeshift bed on the ship, clutching your head. It had been the same thing over and over, a constant nightmare of this...mad man killing Loki, by singlehandedly crushing his neck.

You tried so hard to brush it off, Loki has 'died' plenty of times before and come back, so why would this time—if it even happened—mean anything?

"No resurrections this time." Those words echo in your ears so loudly, you're almost sure they're being said out loud.

"Sister?" Thor says. noticing your disheveled expression. "Are you alright?"

"Thor!" you jump, realizing he was there. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Thor shakes his head, knowing your mouth and your body were telling two different things (that sentence can be used in other situations but anyhow-).

"Something is amiss, I can tell," he replies. "I'm getting Loki." Your eyes widen slightly.

"No, please!" you plead, waving your hands around. "Don't wake him up, I promise I'm okay."

"Who said anything about waking him up?" Thor asks, raising an eyebrow, "Brother!"

And then Loki teleports in front of him. "Yes, brother?"

"See to it that your lady is taken care of, something isn't right with her," Thor informs, pointing in your direction.

"Little snitch," you grumble to him, but he simply shrugs and exits the small room, leaving the raven-haired god with you.

"Love are you feeling alright?" he asks concerned, checking you for injuries.

"I'm okay, Loki, I promise," you assure him, pushing him back a bit. "I just...wasn't that sleepy anymore."

"Something more is wrong," he tells you. "You do this almost every night, ever since we've been on Saakar." Shoot. So, he did notice. "Did something happen there?"

You hesitate a bit, you didn't want to worry him for nothing, it was all a silly dream.

But why did it feel so real?

"I, uh-.." you pause, sitting down. "Yeah, something did happen. But it's been longer than just Saakar." Loki raises an eyebrow, as a signal for you to continue.

"A few months before I learned you weren't dead, I kept having this strange nightmare. Bits and pieces at first, until it formed into something more...intense. I played it off at first because I knew you weren't alive, until Thor took me to Asgard to see you."

"When I saw you, I was happy because you were still alive, but I was also scared because that meant there was a chance my nightmare could come true."

Loki furrows his brows, stepping closer to you, before sitting down beside you. "What happened in the-the nightmare?" he inquires. You let out a sigh, wishing not to recall it again, but it would probably make you feel better to get it off your chest.

"We're...we're on this ship, all of us, and suddenly, while me, you, and Thor are in one of the other rooms of the ship, a much bigger hovers over us. Then an explosion happens, people are being killed, and-" you stop, feeling tears burn at your eyes.
