Chapter 5: Shoot Your Shot

I seemed to just stare in bed as to just what it was that had in fact felt like it had been all night none the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that. As I was not all too sure as to just why it was that it was so hard for me to fall asleep right now.
Perhaps it was the fact that I had in fact had my thoughts on football. Sure, I did not know what it was that was going on with my teams right now. But that was not what it was that I had my eye on football for right now, all at the exact same time too.
I had in fact been working out with Johny and his group of friends in the small little gym for the past few weeks, never the less. The school year was over, and I felt like I could get my focus on to football for sure right now, never the less. I had finished my classes luckily enough, as I had just barely seemed to raise my grades up.
I was glad for that of course, but that was not what it was that I was really thinking on right now. The juvy that I was in of course, did in fact have a football team. It was in the same conference as it was that my old school was at of course, but that was besides the point of it all, all at the exact same time too, at that.
What it was that I was more or less mainly thinking on right now, was of course the fact that. What if? What if I could get back to playing football again? I felt like I was not as strong, and as fast in the legs as it was that I had in fact once been, none the less.
How ever, I also kind of felt like that was besides the point, and it did not matter. I might not be the same guy that it was that I once was, but I felt like I could work around that. I was 6'3 and I was getting stronger than ever... Perhaps I could be a tight end... I knew that I still had some amazing hands none the less.
I felt like there was a lot of stuff that it was that I felt like I was in fact thinking on none the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. I felt like it was very hard on me right now, with all of those thoughts that were in my head right now. To possibly be able to get any sort of sleep of course.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could. I knew I had hardly gotten any sort of sleep last night, but it was too late to fall asleep now. I could see the sun going in through the small little window that was in fact at the top of the cell that we were in fact in, none the less.
I kind of simply just seemed to stand there, and I did in fact simply seem to stare at the light that was in fact above me right now. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could once again, as I did in fact do as such a thing like that, never the less.
I just kind of let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once. I was in fact a little bit surprised as to the fact that Thomas had not gotten out of bed early, such as it was that he usually did in fact seem to do, never the less. It seemed like he must be worn out for some odd reason or another.
That was when it then began to start to hit me as to just why it was in fact the case for him, never the less. I knew that of course, that he had in fact also been working out in the gym. It seemed like he was not as angry at me as he had once been, as he had stopped saying all of that rude shit to me.
How ever, I also knew that he was not going to try to make friends with me at any point in the near future, never the less, at that. I just kind of stood there, and I kind of seemed to stare for just a bit more time, at that. As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, none the less.
That was when I then did in fact begin to just start to stand there, and I did in fact just seem to stare over to Thomas, all at once. I could tell that he was still asleep, as it was clear that he was far too worn out from the work outs that it was that he had in fact been doing none the less, at that.
I did not blame him for it, as I kind of just rolled my eyes a little bit to my self, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was doing right now, none the less. I just simply seemed to stand there, and I seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, at that. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to get my mind and my focus off of Thomas at that, all at once.
That was of course simply due to the fact that I could in fact hear some loud knocking on the door to our cell, none the less, at that. As it was that I had in fact heard that, and I had in fact noticed as to that being such a thing, all at once. That was when I then did in fact hear the voice of a familiar morning guard, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I breathed in another little bit of a soft sigh to my self once again, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to pay attention fully as to just what it was that was even going on right now, none the less.
I just seemed to stare right at the door for a bit longer, with quite a bit of a blank look on my face, at that, never the less. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go right on up, and I then did in fact begin to start to hear his voice, as it was that he did in fact just continue to seem to speak, all at the exact same time too. I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that the man did in fact feel like he even had to say to both me and Thomas from in side of the cell, none the less, at that.
"Alright boys! Get your lazy asses out of the cell! You've got another day to go start!" He said to the both of us, all at once, at that. I suddenly began to start to see Thomas have his head jump up, all at the exact same time too, none the less, once again. It seemed like he might have been having some sort of nightmare, at that.
I kind of felt a little bit bad for him if that was in fact the case, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self ether, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, at that.
That was when I then did in fact begin to start to see that Thomas also did in fact let out a loud, and a bit of a heavy sigh to him self, at that. He then did in fact turn his head over to me, all at once, as he then all of the sudden did in fact notice as to the fact that it was that I was in fact looking right at him right now, at that.
As soon as it was that he had in fact seen me, and he had in fact noticed me doing as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was when I then did in fact notice that he then did in fact just so happen to dip his head a little bit low to the ground for some odd reason or another. Even though I knew damn well that it was not his fault as to just what it was that I was doing right now.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to notice him do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, once again. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to all of the sudden do the exact same thing that it was that he was doing right now. I then did in fact of course, begin to start to dip my head a little bit low to the ground, as I had a bit of an embarrassed look on my own face, at that.
I just seemed to stand there, and I seemed to stare down at the grey floor that was below me for just a bit more time, at that. That was when in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to hear the loud knocking from the door, all at the exact same time too. As soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to hear that, all at once.
That was when I did in fact go right up on ahead, with my fast reaction time of course. And I then did in fact begin to start to stare at the door, as I then did in fact begin to start to speak back to the man that was of course right at the front, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I knew that the rules were that we had to get out of our cell before 8 of course, none the less. We were free to leave when ever, once it was that it was 6:30, none the less. How ever, I also knew that he did in fact always warn us around 7:30 to 7:45 of course, such as it was that he was doing right now.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to all at once, at that, begin to start to speak to the guard that was in fact on the other side of that door right now, never the less, at that. I knew that, as I was quite sure of, of course, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I did in fact feel like I even had to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that.
"Alright! Calm down! We are leaving the cell right now!" I said to the man, all at once, at that. As soon as it was that I had in fact said it to the man that was in fact on the other side of that all, all at the exact same time too. That was when I then did in fact hear some loud muttering from the other side of the door, all at once.
I was sure that it was him talking what ever type of shit it was that he felt like he wanted to say under his breathe of course. How ever, I did not let that bother me, as I really did not seem to care all too much if it was that I was not going to lie to my self, never the less, at that. I simply just seemed to stand there, and I did in fact seem to stare at the door for a little bit longer, all at the exact same time too.
I then did in fact begin to start to get my self up and out of bed, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that of course, all at once. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to reach down for my shoes all of the sudden.
As soon as it was that I had in fact grabbed them, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to put them on, all at once, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as it was that I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to all at once, hear the voice of Thomas, as it felt like he had to say some thing, and he had to speak all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, never the less, once again.
As soon as it was that I had in fact hear his voice of course, at that, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to look right over to him, all at the exact same time too. I was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that was going on with him right now. And just what it was that he was even doing right now in the very first place any ways, at that, once again.
I simply just seemed to stand there, and I seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, all at once. As soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to squint my eyes over to him, all at once.
Of course, he did not have his eyes on me what so ever, all at the exact same time too. I wondered if it was that he was even speaking to me right now, all at once, either. I knew that he was a little bit strange, as it was almost as if I was not in the room with him right now, at that. He seemed to simply just be speaking to him self right now, of course, at that.
I kind of just seemed to tilt my head a little bit over towards him, at that. As I then did in fact let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, at that. In the end, I then did in fact hear his voice, all at once, as it was that he did in fact continue to go on ahead and speak, all at the exact same time too, at that, none the less. I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact even feel like he even had to say right at this very moment in time too, all at once.
"Yeah yeah yeah... Why can't we just sleep in a little bit? There is nothing that we need to go and do right now... School is out..." He said to him self, all at the exact same time too. I kind of felt like he had a fair point, all at the exact same time as well, none the less, once again, at that.
Even if it felt like he was in fact going crazy right now, and he was in fact speaking to him self, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I kind of felt like I could not help but to agree with what it was that he had even said to me, at that. Hell... Classes did not even start til 9 any ways, so I was not all too sure as to just why it was that we seemed to always have to be up so early, none the less.
I kind of just let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self. I felt like I might just be thinking a bit too much to my self right now, of course. I knew that I was in fact worn out, and I was in fact exhausted none the less. It was not just the fact that I had been working out like hell as of lately. But it was also of course due to the fact that it felt like I had not got any sort of sleep what so ever, all at the exact same time too.
I so badly felt like I just wanted to lay my head down, and I felt like I wanted to get some sleep right now, all at the exact same time too. How ever, I also kind of felt like, all at once, that I did in fact also kind of want to get up right now, and I did in fact want to get me some breakfast, all at the exact same time too. Even as nasty as it was that it felt like it might taste to me, all at the exact same time as well.
I knew that of course, that breakfast was the most important meal of the day, none the less. I knew that if it was that I was about to go and have another long and hard day of the fact that I needed to go work out. Than I for sure did not want to miss out on breakfast what so ever, none the less.
I kind of just stood there, and I seemed to stare at the door for just a little bit more time, all at once. That was when I then did in fact get my eyes right back on to Thomas, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, once again.
That was when I then did in fact just begin to start to shake my head over to him, all at once. Which he of course did in fact seem to notice out of the corner of his eye, at that. He then did in fact of course, begin to start to turn his head over to me, all at once, once again, at that.
As it was that he had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that of course, all at once. That was when he then also did in fact begin to start to tilt his head a little bit over towards me him self, all at once. It was clear to me at the very least, that he was in fact beginning to start to pay his full attention on to just what it was that I was in fact about to go on ahead and say to him, all at once.
As it was that I had in fact began to start to realize that, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once. I did my best to try to calm my self down, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to continue to speak to him, all at the exact same time too, at that. I of course did in fact know that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even felt like I had to say to him, at that.
"Well... If you don't want to get in trouble, and you want to get some thing to eat... I recommend we go on ahead and get out of here..." I said to him, all at the exact same time too. I did in fact have my eyes on him, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to get my eyes, and I then did in fact begin to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that it was that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, at that, never the less, once again.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, once again. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, at that. It was clear to me that right now, that Thomas of course was not going to respond back to what it was that I had said to him.
That was not more due to the fact that it was that of course, that he had in fact was going to rebel as to just what it was that I had in fact just said to him of course. So much as it was that he did in fact just not want to talk to me. That was always the case, as I knew that he did not like me, as I knew that he put all the blame on me for every thing that it was that had in fact gone wrong at his place not all too much longer ago, none the less.
I kind of just shook my head a little bit to my self, all at once, as I felt like it was best for me to just not worry on it all too much what so ever right now. I simply just seemed to keep on going with just what it was that I was in fact even trying to do, all at the exact same time too, at that. Which was of course the fact that I was in fact trying to get my self out of this cell, so that it was that I could in fact go on ahead and eat some breakfast of course, never the less, at that.
As it was that I had in fact began to start to remember as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to breathe in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once. In the end, I then did in fact just head right on over to the door, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact got right up on the door, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of Thomas, all at once. At first it was that I felt like he was once again beginning to start to speak to him self, just as it was that he had in fact been doing not all too much longer ago, all at the exact same time too.
That was when I then did in fact begin to start to notice that it was not the tone of his voice that it was that he usually used when ever it was that he did in fact seem to speak to him self, all at the exact same time too. I began to start to breathe in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once. In the end, I then did in fact begin to just start to go right on ahead, and I all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, did in fact begin to start to turn my head over to him, at that.
As soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. That was when I then did in fact notice that his eyes were in fact wide, all at the exact same time as well. It was also clear to me, all at once, that he was in fact trying to speak to me right now, at that. As it was that I had in fact realized as such a thing like that, all at once.
That was of course when I then did in fact begin to start to nod to him, all at the exact same time too. I did in fact begin to start to let him know, all at the exact same time too, that I was in fact beginning to start to pay my full attention on to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he even had to say to me, all at once. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as it was that I felt like I possibly even could, all at once.
In the end, Thomas of course did in fact just seem to continue to speak to me, all at once. I did my best to try to keep my self as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact even feel like he even had to say to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Wait... Can I go and sit with you and your friends at the table?" He said to me, all at the exact same time too, as I was in fact a little bit surprised as to just what it was that he had in fact said to me, all at once. I was a little bit surprised that he even had the balls to say as such a thing like that to me, all at once.
I felt like I wanted to be upset at him for it, as I felt like I could feel my anger running through me, all at the exact same time as well. How ever, I just stopped my self before it was that it did in fact seem to get too out of hand, all at once, at that. I knew that there was no reason to be getting angry with him right now, at that. I knew that he really did not have all that many friends with him right now, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare at him for a little bit longer. I began to start to think on it, all at the exact same time too. I knew that he had treated me like shit this entire time it was that we had been in this place, none the less.
He was a lot different of course than the way that it was that he treated me, compared to every one else that it was that did in fact treat me like shit of course, at that. He in stead just seemed to be attacking me on my weakest spots, all at the exact same time too. Rather than it be that every one just called my parents names, and made up things about my family, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I knew that none of that was true what so ever either, so I really did not let that bother me all too much what so ever, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too, at that. I just kind of stood there, and I seemed to stare at him for a little  bit more time, with quite a little bit of a blank look on my face, all at the exact same time too.
I knew that so badly I wanted to tell him no... I did not want to be an ass hole either, as I knew that he was in fact my cell mate, none the less. I knew that he did not have a single friend in this place what so ever, all at the exact same time too, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. In the end, I then did in fact just go right on ahead, and I then did in fact all of the sudden begin to start to nod back to him, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once.
It was in fact clear to me at the very least right now, that it was that I was letting him know that I was about to go right on ahead, and I was about to go on and speak back to him, all at the exact same time as well. I saw that his eyes were in fact wide right now, as it was clear that he was not all too sure as to just what it was that he should do, or just how it was that he should in fact respond to that at first, all at the exact same time too.
How ever, in the end, he then did in fact just go right on ahead, and he then did in fact all at once, begin to start to nod to me, all at the exact same time too, at that. It was clear to me that right at this very moment in time too, that he was in fact letting me know. Thankfully of course, that he was in fact paying his full attention as to just what it was that I did in fact even have to say to him, all at once.
As soon as it was that I had in fact seen him do as such a thing like that, all at once, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to all of the sudden, all at once. I began to start to speak to him, all at the exact same time as well. He was of course beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him, at the very least, as far as it was that I was in fact concerned, of course, at that.
"I mean... It's not up to me to decide... But you can sit beside us and shoot your shot..."
