[2025] Helping AleXa In Search of Her Mother

[ FLASHBACK ]

"The main reason I came back to Seoul was to search for my mother. But now that she doesn't want to see me, I don't find the reason to be here anymore," 

Sunny frowned and exhaled while looking at the 29-year-old female Korean-American-Russian.

"I just lose the reason for me to stay here. When I'm in the US, people love me more and I think they will continue to love me more there. I don't have a huge fanbase here in Korea. There are lesser fans here." 

Sunny then asks, "Can I ask you something?" 

AleXa nodded, "Yeah sure."

"Even if your mother doesn't want to see you, would you want to see her? Even from afar?" Sunny asked her. 

AleXa smiles thinly and nodded, "I would love to. I want to see the woman's face who gave birth to me. Who fought for her life to give birth to me."

Sunny smiled and nodded.

Sunny wishes to help her friend. She's like a sister to Sunny and she knows AleXa's main reason to return to Seoul from Oklahoma was to find her mother whom she misses so much.

And now, she has an idea on how to help her beloved older non-blood-related sister.

Sunny picked up her phone after hearing it ring. Just less than 5 seconds, she answered the call from Seo-yoon immediately.

"Hello," Sunny greeted the woman politely.

"Hi, I saw your message," Seo-yoon said.

"Yeah, I need a favor," Sunny requested as she stood up from the couch.

"You know we don't do favors," Seo-yoon replied in a stern tone.

"I really need this favor, eunnie. I'm begging you. She is my friend and I can't help but feel very sorry for her. I know I can do this but I need a favor too," Sunny said.
