The night was young. 9pm. The children had all gone home and new nightguard wouldn't arrive till 12. The toys had all gone off into the parts and service room to do what they had said was "a grown up game" suspicion arose in Balloon Boy's mind but he ignored it. Tonight. He had the entire place to himself. At least he thought. A musical tune echoed through the pizzeria.
"Hello?" Bb followed the tune. Silence except for the tune. No reply. As Bb got closer to the Prize Corner he heard soft singing.
"Ninety years without slumbering. tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. His life's seconds numbering. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. it stopped. Short. Never go again~. When the old. Man. Died~" a large blue and purple box sat in the corner, near the prize desk, Bb didn't see anyone but he was sure there was singing. Sounds out movement came from inside the box. Bb crept closer
"Hello?". A small squeak of surprise echoed through the room.
"You heard me...didn't you?" A shy voice spoke from inside the box.
"Yes. You sing amazingly well"
"Really?" A pair of black eyes looked out from the box and at Balloon Boy.
"Do it often?" Bb got a little closer.
"For fun really...it's just how I entertain myself..."
"Has anyone else heard you?"
"Hopefully not!" The eyes disappeared back into the box.
"What's your name?"
"M-Marionette..."
"I'm Balloon Boy"
"I used to-" Marionette started but silenced himself.
"Used to what?"
"Nothing"
"Doesn't sound like nothing"
"Nothing you'd care about"
Bb only sighed. "You're shy, aren't you?"
"Yes...I am..."
"I'm the only here until eleven. Can't you come out?"
"Are you sure no one would see me?"
"I'm sure. They're playing a 'Grown up game' with the older animatronics"
"The older animatronics?"
"Yeah, have you seen them yet?"
"Yeah, I have. I'm good friends with them."
"Speaking of friends...would you like to be mine?"
"Yeah! I like friends~" Marionette giggled and poked his head out of the box and he's cute.
