Paradise (Part Four):Courtney POV

Those words Tyler said bounced in my head like pinball. I couldn't believe what he said.
"They kissed?" I choked out "on the day of our anniversry?"
"I'm so sorry Courtney" he said looking down
I flooded out my tears and wrapped my arms around Tyler. I sobbed and sobbed everything out. How could he have done This to me? Duncan? Why did he do this?
"Come on, I'll take you to your room" Tyler said helping me up
"God I feel like an ass for telling you that" he sighed
"Don't, I needed to know Tyler" I sobbed

I was in my room on my bed reading when Duncan came in.
"Hey babe" he said smiling
"Hello." I said blandly
"Something up princess?"
"Don't call me that. And yeah something is."
"What's wrong?"
"You kissing Gwen? Yeah. That's wrong"
"T-Tyler told you?"
"He sure did"
"Courtney, I-"
"Don't 'Courtney' me Duncan. We're so through." I said getting up with my bags "I'm spending the last few days in Sunsetta in Bridgette's room. So you don't have to worry about getting caught again"
"Please! Don't leave me! I love you Courtney and I want you"
"Call me back when you figure out your feelings"
"But I do! And I love you!"
I turned around to face him with tears running down my face
"The sad thing is Duncan, I thought you were different."
And with those final words, I slammed the door.

Hey guyssssss. So as you see my chapters are a lot shorter. I'm so terribly sorry but I'm just trying to get through this book. Besides that, how's the story turning out? I don't really like it anynore but if you guys enjoy it, I'll continue (: Tysm for the votes and comments! You guys are truly amazing.
