The Adventure

chapter 1

  It was a dark night in Chakaluli, cars flashing by with the street lights shining down in the ambient cold night. Then all of a sudden Salkeen heard a loud crash in her neighbors backyard. She goes to her window and sees a mysterious meteor that glowed a bright blue smoke all around it. Then she goes outside and tries to get a closer look but her parents nearly catch her going out through the fence. Due to the cameras at the door.

  The next morning Salkeen gets ready for school and all of a sudden it smells like her new favorite smell. She goes to her open window to see where that scent is coming from but all she sees is the blue smoke from last night leaking into her backyard. Salkeen being 13 in a modern neighborhood with no other people her age around and a conspiracy theorist she thinks that there is a alien so then once she is done with school she gets dressed and goes outside to 'play' to see what the mysterious meteor was about but when she went to the fence there wasn't anything in the neighbors back yard except a crash looking spot where the meteor was.

  Her parents then get concerned while Salkeen was trying to explain what she saw. Her parents then got her a therapist and made her do online school. Every Wednesday she would go to her very kind and good listener therapist Molly. Molly loved listening to what Salkeen stated and they became very good friends. Molly is 14 and was trained her whole life to be a listener.
Since Molly and Salkeen became friends they both got very interested in what the meteor was or if it was meteor.

  Soon after Salkeen's parents got her out of therapy a couple weeks later. That is when everything started getting weird. Salkeen noticed that alot of people that walked around in their everyday life acted as if they were a npc. Soon after Salkeen told Molly what she realized Molly started a investigation to figure out what is going on. They both soon after assume it had to do something with the meteor.

  They kept their investigation to their selves because Salkeen's parents thought she was already tripping. They didn't want both of them to seem odd to Salkeen's parents. About a week later they both go outside in Salkeen's backyard and go beyond the fence. Behind their house is a forest. Salkeen and Molly go adventuring into the mysterious forest to later discover something beyond what they thought.

  It was the meteor but cracked in half with lush all around it as if something hatched. They both ran home and started sketching what they saw and what they thought everything was. The next day is Saturday and they both bring plastic bags to collect some samples of the lush and parts of the meteor.
