Later on after they go back to the woods to get samples of what they saw, they both go back to Salkeen's room to see what they found. Soon they both discover that all the samples they had gotten had at least one piece of shiny blue crystal on the side or top or even on the inside of each sample piece.

Soon after they find out the common thing about each piece they start a experiment with the crystal looking blue gems. Then they decide to test the bright blue gems and put one gem in a freezer, one gem in the middle of the yard, and one gem inside. For one week they write down how different they look and another week they write down how much they shine. Molly realizes that the one in the freezer started to shine alot brighter. All started shining alot brighter ever since the new neighbor came the week before.

After the new neighbors got settled down at the next house, Molly seemed to spot another person their age living there. Salkeen and Molly go to the side of the fence and invite the new neighbors to talk to. Soon Gabby the 13 year old goes to the fence and greets Molly and Salkeen, but secretly Molly and Salkeen think there is something off about Gabby.

Soon after they introduce each other they become friends. Then Molly and Salkeen realize that Gabby is super nice but not in a weird way. Later on they become the best friend trio. Salkeen's parents feel alot better about Salkeen and thinks that she is getting better. But in reality they are still on the topic of the hatched meteor. All three start another investigation on what the crystal looking gems were.

They all go into the forest behind Salkeen's house and see that the hatched meteor was still there. Once Gabby sees the meteor, her wanting to be a geologist, takes notes on what it looks like. Then they all go in Salkeen's room and look up what they saw on Google. Gabby finds out that the crystal gem looking things are extremely rare, in fact the rarest ever. Salkeen finds out that the lush is actually lush from one of the deepest lush caves ever and is also rare, and Molly found out that the type of rock that the meteor was made out of was the most rarest type of rock in the universe.

After they sell some of the rock and get enough money for things they want to get, they buy a house across the street and all three live in it. Once they settle in they buy a shed and start their own investigation and continue their theory of the meteor. They all become very close and even lived in their new house as if they were adults. They all were also very mature and had good spirits.

It now is summer and they all were 14. They all got a summer job and tried to save up money for future goals. Once they raise enough money they have the rest of the summer off free and get some close time together. Salkeen's parents then move out forgetting Salkeen. A few days after Salkeen sells her house and all three friends move into Salkeen's old parents house. After they settle in they go back to the woods and build a mini camp a little close to the hatched meteor site.
