Y/N POV
"Well, this is an interesting result, I must say." Father cooed.
The three of us stood in the large entryway of the cave, Ilulu trembling behind my robed figure as she took in the scarce details of my father.
I shot him a serious glance before he could form another sentence which thankfully silenced him.
"Father, I assure you all will be explained shortly but I must tend to the matters at hand first." I instructed nodding towards the smaller dragon at my side.
"Yes, I expect it to go on then."
I complied walking past him and further into the cave.
"You had better have some damn serious reasoning bringing her here." He seethed as we strode past.
"Never mind him little one, your safe with me." I assured the shaking girl earning a furious nodding spree.
I opted to take her to some more comfortable chambers, mine were anything but, not to mention dangerous. Striding along the caverns, my hand tightly gripping onto the female we neared her new living quarters.
"Who was that?" She questioned as we neared a rickety spruce door embedded in the rock face.
"Aah, that would be my father."
"Really? That was your dad?" She further questioned.
"That is correct. Now as I understand you'll need a place to stay for a while so..." I hitched cracking the door open.
"You'll need your own room." I finished revealing a simple open bedroom, furnished with a bed, fireplace, table, and chair.
"So, you like it?" I questioned.
The short silence was abruptly disturbed by the fain sound of crying.
"Oh, I'm sorry is it not..."
"No, i-it's just like my room in the village." She whispered.
I knelt down beside her and placed my hands on her shoulders.
"Hey, look at me. Your hurting, that's to be expected and no one blames you for it." I started.
"I-I...
"Your also scared of how fast things are moving forward and changing but you listen. I am here for you, today, tomorrow, next year. I am here, remember that." I instructed.
"Why, why do you help me, why would you be there for me? You have no reason to."
"Sigh, I am helping you Ilulu, because I know what it feels like, to be in your position, to lose everything."
She threw of my hands and clung to my form with surprising strength to which I returned.
What she failed to notice however was the malicious grin spreading across my face.
"Father?" I called, gliding along my chambers.
"I'm waiting." He abruptly uttered from behind my now rigid figure.
"Now I would not have bought the girl here if I didn't have some kind of reasoning."
"Just, get to the point."
"Yes, well to put it bluntly, I have a plan for that girl, and it involves that talk we had a few months ago."
And with that one sentence the man's eyes widened behind his metal mask.
"Well, I must admit now I am curious."
"Yes, and during that explanation you gave me you mentioned something about an apprentice."
