Flashback: The Accident.

ADEN'S POV

Patuloy pa rin akong nagiisip. Iniisip ang mga nangyari noong gabing 'yon. Sobrang bata ko pa noon para maintindihan 'yon pero, naalala ko pa ang lahat.

"Are you excited, sweetie? We're going on a park with your sister tomorrow make sure to prepare, okay?" Mom said. "Yes, mommy! I'll bring Jenna on the slide tomorrow mommy! I'm so excited!" I responded. Sa sobrang saya ko noon, hindi matanggal ang ngiti ko dahil mag-bobonding kami kinabukasan. Pero sa araw pala na 'yon mawawala ang lahat.

"Richard! Richard! Richard!" I heard Mom yelled because I saw a truck coming towards us. I was still a kid, I didn't know that was gonna happened.

And I saw a light and I heard a 'boogsh!' a loud bang in a tree. My Yaya was there covering me in the backseat. I cried out loud when I saw mom and dad full of blood and has some glass on their faces. "Mom! Dad! Please wake up! Don't leave me please!" I tried to wake them up, but... But I failed. If only I knew it was gonna happen. I shouldn't have forced them to go with me to the mall.

It's my fault. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have forced them, if I didn't maybe they're still alive.

"Yaya, what happened to them? I wanna see mommy and daddy. Where are they?" I asked. "Lola, where are they?" I asked again after yaya didn't answer me. "Aden, They're- They're now gone Aden. But don't worry, they're in a safe place. Okay?" Lola said.

"What? That's not true... They said they won't leave me." I said. I cried so hard because what my Lola said. Bata pa ko noon pero, para bang naiintihan ko. I lost my parents. And I don't wanna lose my self.

It's hard. Masakit na tanggapin na wala na sila. It just hard. It just hard to move on. To fucking move on.
