You woke up with a lazy sigh, not even bothering to get out of bed as you contemplated and regretted your life choices. 'What do I do now? Go back home? Grandma will whack me...' You groaned, accepting your undesired fate for now.
Getting up, you did what you would usually do during your everyday routines. Freshen up, assist Asta with the cleaning (though it was just mostly you chasing after Asta...the boy was too energetic on a day like that), and finally, eat breakfast. What a productive morning I would say.
"Man, we've been working hard since the crack of dawn again. Magic Knights sure do have a lot of work to do." Asta said. You looked at the boy with furrowed eyebrows. 'It was only him that was working hard, all I did was trying to catch up to him...Meh, I'll just keep quiet,' you looked away in guilt.
"Wait, how is this any different from life at home?!" He exclaimed, realising the awful similarity between his routine at home and at work.
'i know right, makes me question why I came here at all.'
Breakfast came not long after. You sat at the table last, opting to take your own time changing clothes and walking down the stairs. A breeze walk, I might say. As you sat down, you could immediately catch up onto the conversation Asta was having. (His voice was so loud, you once questioned whether he had swallowed a whole microphone when he was younger)
"Noelle, why don't you help us with the cleaning?" Asta asked, as he continued stuffing his face with food.
"Cleaning? But I'm royalty," You deadpanned at her reply. Of course, what did you expect. Why on earth would someone like Noelle be doing their own housechores, that was what maids and butlers were for...right?
"So, uhm what do Magic Knights do anyway?" Asta asked.
It was as if half of your lifespan evaporated away. How on earth does one not know what Magic knights do... if they are one themselves? (This sentence is so confusing even the author is confused)
