Virginia had headed off to university with the idea that this was the very first thing she was ever doing truly by herself without any of her four siblings with her. That was enough to make university bright and shiny, but on her first day on campus Virginia had discovered the university library and had immediately fallen in love with the quiet atmosphere and the towering stacks of old books.

Without her siblings around to constantly interrupt her reading time, Ginny spent her first week on campus enjoying her newfound freedom. She had chosen computer science as it interested her slightly, and she didn't have to work very hard at it, since it seemed to come naturally for her. Everything was very orderly when it came to writing code and Virginia very definitely appreciated that something in her life could be neat and tidy.

The dorm room was a bit small, but she didn't have to share the bedroom, just the common area. And even her dorm mate seemed nice enough so far.

Ginny had just emerged onto the front steps of the library, stopping to check her phone to make sure where her next class was, when she heard the weirdest laugh she had ever heard. Frowning, she looked up to see who it was, when a pair of giant shoulders tumbled into her, nearly knocking her off the library steps.

"Yah, you guys, watch what you're doing," scolded a melodic voice and Ginny suddenly realized that the reason she hadn't tumbled down the flight of stairs was the giant shoulders had been attached to a pair of arms that were now holding her effortlessly in place.

She looked up into the deepest brown eyes she'd ever seen and smiled faintly when the man grinned at her.

"I'm so sorry that those guys were idiots," he said, and Ginny heard the wonderful voice come from the man's mouth. She also realized she was still in his arms and embarrassed, she struggled to stand up. The man held onto her as he pulled her back up, then kept the arm around her shoulders in place.

"Are you alright," he asked softly, and Ginny looked up at him again. Now standing, he seemed even taller than he had before when he was looming over her, so she just nodded a bit.

He laughed a little and brushed her hair behind her ears before bending down again.

Ginny pushed her glasses back up into place and the man smiled again, then adjusted his own glasses with a push from his index finger making Ginny grin as well.

"Hi! I'm Kim Seokjin, Miss...." He trailed off and looked at her hopefully and Ginny gulped a little.

"I'm Jeon Virginia," she said shyly and the man, Seokjin nodded.

"Virginia is an unusual name in Korea," he said with a smile and Ginny nodded.

"My mom is half American. My sister and I are named after her grandmother and great-aunt," she explained and then winced at herself. He doesn't care about those details she chided herself but when she looked back up from under her eyelashes, Seokjin was watching her closely with a tiny smile on his face.

"I like it. But I don't see you as a Virginia very often," he said, and she looked to him in confusion.

"My siblings call me Ginny," she said and from nowhere he burst into laughter.

"My very best friends, who won't enter university until next year? Those friends call me Jinnie," he explained after laughing uproariously and made Ginny smile hesitantly. He was the source of the odd laughter that had caused her to search for him earlier.

Jin looked back at Ginny, and he tucked her hair behind her ears once more. His gentle touch against her skin made her shiver slightly. Jin's smile grew just a little bigger when he noticed her reaction.
