Class was over. I was walking with Lydia. We were planning a shopping trip. We saw Allison at her locker.

Lydia walked up to her. "That jacket is totally killer. Where did you get it?"

"My mom was a buyer from a boutique in San Francisco."

"And you are my new best friend along with June here"

I smiled slightly. "Juniper Cullen. June preferably."

"Hi. You're in my English class, right?"

"Yes" I grinned again.

Jackson arrived and kisses Lydia. I rolled my eyes and made a disgusted face. I really didn't need to see that.

When they finally broke apart, Lydia looks at Allison.

"So,, this weekend, there's a party"

"A party?"

"Yeah, Friday night, you should come." said Jackson.

"Oh, I can't, it's family night on Friday...But thanks for asking."

"You're sure? Everyone's going after the game."

'You mean like football"

"Football is a joke here. The sport is lacrosse. we won the national championship last year"

"Because of the team captain" said Lydia.

Oh please, someone gag me with a spoon."

"We practice in a few minutes. If you don't have anything else to do..."

"Well, I was going to..." began Allison.

"Perfect! You're coming!"

Lydia got Allison's hand and dragged her to the field. I looked over at Scott and Stiles. I rolled my eyes. They smiled. I followed behind the trio to the field.

I was walking with Stiles and Scott.

"But if you place, I won't have anyone to talk to on the bleachers. Are you really gonna do that to your best friend?"

"I can't stay out again. My whole life is sitting on the side line. This season I will make first line."

I stood next to Coach Finstock. He was my favorite teacher. He was a trip with his sarcasm.

"McCall!"

"Yes?"

"You're in goal"

"I've never played goal"

"I know, scoring some shots will bring confidence. It's a first day thing."

"What about me?"

"Try to not take any in the face."

He addresses the team, "Let's go! Come on!"

I went and stood on the sidelines.

I heard Allison say, "Who is that?"

"Hiim? I'm not sure. Why?"

"He's in my English class."

The players began to throw the lacrosse ball. Amazingly, Scott caught every one of them. Stiles and I shared a look with each other before looking back at the field.

"He seems pretty god"

"Yeah, he is"

Jackson tries to scare Scott and shoots, but Scott stops the ball. Everyone applause, even Lydia, but Jackson stares daggers at Scott.
