𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗦 ¡ 𝖻𝗍𝗌 𝖺𝖽𝖽𝖾𝖽 𝗆𝖾𝗆𝖻𝖾𝗋 (𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗)

𝗉𝖾𝗋𝗂𝗅𝗅𝖺 𝗅𝖾𝖺𝗏𝖾𝗌

2022 (filmed before the dating news was out)

lucia sat in between taehyung and jin. they were all answering mbti questions. until they got to one question and it started to get heated between the members.

the question is: do you think it's okay if your significant other peals a perilla leaf for your friend while you're with them?

"i don't think i'd care," namjoon gave his opinion after reading the question. "me either" yoongi agreed with him.
"i don't care either," hoseok said, then went back to doodling on his whiteboard.

"let's take turns answering! jungkook, go first!," taehyung pointed at jungkook who was the first person in the row.

"they can't help!," all the members softly chuckled at jungkook's answer.
"i don't care," yoongi was the second to answer. he was sitting next to jungkook.

jimin didn't seem to understand the question so lucia had to explain it for him.

"honestly, i could care less," namjoon chimed in. "but would you guys care or not?,"
"i would," jungkook was firm with his answer.

"i just lost a little faith in humanity," jin shook his head disappointed.

"guys! i don't think it'd matter," lucia chuckled while drawing different things on her whiteboard.

jungkook looked over at her in shock.

"corazon, let's say i'm your boyfriend, right? and your closet friend peels a perilla leaf for me. would that not make you mad?," lucia giggled watching jungkook get frustrated with her.

"not really, they're just helping,"

"it's not like they're flirting together," yoongi added. "if they were then i would understand,"

"i mean they didn't peel the leaf off, wrapped it in rice and fed them," jin made a feeding motion towards lucia.
"that'd be crossing the line," namjoon said referring to jin's example.

taehyung tried explaining to the members the situation by saying that what if they did it with the same chopsticks they were eating with.

"it's just one perilla leaf!," lucia sighed in her seat.

"would you be annoyed or not?," namjoon turned to ask taehyung.
"i think i'd have a light fight with them," taehyung replied.

"no way!," lucia couldn't believe what he was saying.

"taehyung is so funny today," jimin laughed at his answer.

"couldn't they help your friend?,"
"no!," jungkook didn't look up from his whiteboard.
"why not?," jin looked over at him.

"what if they scoop noodles out of the pot for a friend?," yoongi tried using a different example.
"that's okay, but the perilla leaf isn't," jungkook was not going to change his answer

"why isn't it okay?," lucia asked him.
"they peel off one perilla leaf next thing you know, they're holding hands,"

"then they fall in love!," taehyung chimed in "and they end up getting married!," jungkook finished it off.

lucia bursted out laughing hearing them.
"how could they fall in love over a perilla leaf!,"

"j-hope share your thoughts," she looked over at him, he had been silent the whole time amused by the members.

"it wouldn't matter if we trust each other,"
"thank you!," she ran over to him and gave him a back hug.

"oh i heard this one too, peeling a shrimp for your friend,"

"see now that isn't okay," all the members laughed seeing that lucia had a different opinion now.

"what, why?," jimin asked her.
"because shrimp requires a bit more effort to peal. and if my significant other decides to put in a bit of effort to peel a shrimp for my friend, then he's a red flag," she shrugged her shoulders. she was obviously joking a bit though.

"red flag?," namjoon repeated the english word to her confused. "it means like something not good about your partner. like for example if they get mad over anything, that's a red flag," namjoon nodded after understanding.

"if they can't peel a shrimp, then they don't deserve to eat it," yoongi snickered.

"who thinks it doesn't matter, raise your hand,"
"i don't care,"
"me either,"

both jin and yoongi raised their hands.

taehyung gave yoongi a different scenario, but he still stayed with his same answer.

the members were having a different discussion about soups when jimin's chair broke from him moving around while laughing.

lucia held her stomach as it started hurting from her laughing.

"when are you going to make us stop fighting?," he asked the staff. they members continue their debate ignoring what happened to jimin.

they were super deep into it.

"what about pouring drinks?,"
"pouring drinks is okay, it's a cultural thing," jungkook answered.
"perilla leaves are too," yoongi spoke.
"peeling them isn't,"

namjoon groaned, "my friend isn't dumb, why would my significant other need to peel a perilla leaf for them or pour them a drink!,"

"because they need help since it isn't peeling off," lucia slumped in her seat.
"they need help with the shrimp too!," jin was trying to make her see that it's the same thing.

"no, they can ask someone else in the room or  in the restaurant to peel it for them, or just not eat the shrimp, simple,"

after a few more minutes of discussing the topic the staff decided to end it and move on to ending the video.
