Anakin's P.O.V.

"Anakin?"

Opening my eyes from hearing Obi-Wan's voice, I sit up straight in my chair and find his gaze glancing around us. We're in the healing hall at the Jedi Temple; it's been a day since Vale and I killed Darth Sidious. So much has happened in the span of twenty-four hours.

"Where... Where's Vale?" Obi-Wan mumbles out when seeing her not in his medical room. "Is she alright? Is she safe?"

"She's alright, Obi-Wan." I smile at him and let out a single chuckle from that being the first thing he asked. "She's with the high council right now."

He could have asked about the Chancellor, the Jedi Order and Republic or even his missing hand, but instead, he asks about Vale. When Vale woke up here after the battle of Geonosis, the first thing she asked me was if Obi-Wan's okay. My smile widens, and I shake my head at how ironic this situation is for me.

Years ago, I was sitting here waiting for Vale to wake up while Obi-Wan was speaking to the council. Now, I'm sitting here for Obi-Wan as Vale speaks to the council. Watching my friend, I see his eyes glance down to his robotic hand and his wrapped up chest.

"You have a few broken rips." I speak up when noticing his confusion. "They should fully heal in a few weeks."

He peers back at me and his eyes linger on my two robotic hands. After Vale and I defeated Darth Sidious, we brought Obi-Wan and Mace Windu back to the halls of healing in the Jedi Temple. The medical droids patched up Vale's cut on her arm and gave me a second robotic hand.

Mace Windu got two robotic hands, so now me and him are matching. Obi-Wan just got the one robotic hand and the medic droids gave him shots to quicken his ribs healing. Mace Windu, Vale and I were released from the healing halls in only a few hours of being here.

Though Obi-Wan had to stay longer since he was still unconscious. Leaning back in my seat, Obi-Wan meets my gaze and I smirk at his alarmed expression. Tilting my head, I lift my robotic hands and tease.

"Welcome to the robotic hands club. So far it's just you, me and Master Windu."

"So I take it..." Obi-Wan hums out lightly from hearing my upbeat tone while nodding his head. "The Chancellor is dead?"

"Yup... A lot has happened since you fell." I answer proudly and raising my eyebrows at him. "Shall I list them off for you, Master?"

Obi-Wan nods slowly while staring at me, worried, and I know it's because of my perky mood. Last time the two of us were here together, tears were shed and sorrow filled our hearts. Though, this is nothing like last time, which is why I can't stop smiling.

"Well... First, you're looking at the newest Jedi Master on the high council." I announce while standing up and heading towards him. "Second, the Republic will vote for a new Supreme Chancellor in at week and systems are opting out of the Separatist's movement with each passing second."

I see his eyes widen in awe while laying in the medical bed. My smile widens at just thinking about what's happened since he's been out. Moving to sit on the edge of his bed, I then cross my arms and add one last thing.

"... And lastly... I am now the father of twins."

Obi-Wan sits up in his bed in shock before groaning in pain. Chuckling, I help him lie back down and pat his shoulder lightly. Sitting back down beside him, I explain with a grin and shaking my head in awe.

"Padme gave birth to a boy and a girl fourteen hours ago... Luke and Leia." Feeling tears come into my eyes, I then add in a quivering voice. "All three of them are in perfect health."
