"You're a fucking psychopath, you're nothing but crazy and obsessive. Fucking get out"

"Wake up Kai" her dad shook her and woke her up from the nightmare.

"What're you dreamin about this time munchkin" He sat on her bed and gave her a warm smile. She sat up and sighed, slowly standing to get out of bed. She looked over at her dad who was still awaiting a response,

"Nothin'" she smiled faintly and walked into her bathroom.

Her dad had now left the room to give her space.

"Once again I'm here questioning my sanity" she looked in the mirror, but everything looked weird. Her head seemed to be getting bigger and smaller, the wall seemed all curvy and funny; she started to feel dizzy and disconnected from her bathroom.

"Where am I?" she let out a brief sigh before breathing in and out.

"You are real. If I'm questioning my existence then I exist" she whispered to herself in the mirror, soon everything started to look normal so she started her morning routine while listening to her love playlist. Kai had always thought about having that one person to listen to music with, and at some point, she felt as if she had found her person, but the relationship just crashed and burned like the rest. Nowadays she's just everyone's go-to hook-up and failed talking stage.

Moving on from that, Kai took a quick shower and threw her short black hair with blood-red tips into a small ponytail; leaving two strands of hair out in the front. After washing their face she decided to throw on some quick eyeliner and mascara, today was a going to be a rough one considering she was exhausted from dealing with drama and just living in general

Kai walked back into her room and searched through her drawer for something to wear. She chose to throw on oversized black mom jeans, a black cropped top with a skull in the middle along with a few accessories such as a skull necklace, her black septum, lip, and nostril piercing. They walked and grabbed their usual converse and grabbed their bookbag walking out of their room.

"It's about time you woke up" her brother called from behind her

"Well good morning to you too little brother" she smiled at him and they walked downstairs where breakfast was being made by her dad.

"Mornin kiddos, on today's menu were havin' some good ole sausage, egg, and pancakes. Made by yours truly" he smiled at them setting their plates on the table.

"Hey dad, is it okay if one my friends came over," Kaden asked

Kai looked over at Kaden, "Who the hell is this friend of yours " she asked mouth full of food.

"For one, don't talk with your mouth full and two, he's is an old friend of mine who recently moved back here like a couple of months ago," he said swaying his fork in the front of her face with attitude

"So sassy this morning aren't we" Kai rolled their eyes and got up from the table. She grabbed her car keys and bookbag then made her way to their car which was sitting in the garage.

"DRIVE SAFE MUNCHKIN" she heard her dad yell from the kitchen

"Jesus could you be any louder" she chuckled to herself. They sat in their car and started it up,

"Let's just get this day over with"

She pulled up to school and saw her best  friends all laughing together by their cars.

"KAI MY BABY I MISSED YOU" her closest friend Ruby yelled at her as she ran up to Kai's car.

"Didn't you just see me yesterday?" Kai laughed at the blonde girl embracing her, who was now placing kisses along her face.
