the 18 year olds gripped their bags under the glowing spear of the hot sun. "alright kids, get on the bus!", beomgyu raised his voice while he ushered them.
chaemin purposely sat nearer to the front so beomgyu could sit with her. "oh front! that's so unlike us!", yeonjun laughed and took his usual seat next to the girl. chaemin's mouth was left open as she made eye contact with her boyfriend and watched as ms lee softly pulled him to sit with her.
//FLASHBACK TO CRAVE// After beomgyu collected their papers, he declared a news to the class. "We have planned a camp trip for you all to relax!" //END OF FLASHBACK//
"Come on chae!", Yeonjun took her hand in his and pulled her out of the bus. "Huh already?", she looked around to find out they have reached the campsite. Under the scorching hot sun, while everyone was busy adjusting to the new environment, yeonjun whispered into her ear, "Let's play by the lake!" Chaemin's eyes lit up in excitement as she frantically nodded. The two giggled before they secretly ran off to the lake behind their tents.
"Ahhh!", Chaemin screamed and laughed when her best friend splashed water at her. She didn't hesitate to tackle him down into a hug as they fell into the water with a loud splash. Meanwhile, their teacher noticed their disappearance and was already worriedly searching for them. Beomgyu heard giggles and immediately ran over but the sight of yeonjun hugging his girlfriend in the water made him stop and hid himself behind a tree. Jealousy and bitterness arise in his heart, he peeked to see chaemin laughing with her eyes curved and her hands splashing water at yeonjun. "What are the both of you doing here!", beomgyu heard ms lee shouted from a distance. He sighed when they were reprimanded while he silently walked back.

"gyu!", the cheerful girl poked the arm of her boyfriend from behind. "where were you?", he coldly asked. "oh. i went to the restroom.", chaemin knew she was in deep trouble when beomgyu rolled his eyes at her lie. "what's wrong?", she tested the waters. "none of your business", he scoffed and walked past her to stand with the other teachers.
Chaemin was definitely taken aback, she stood still with a mouth slight opened. "chae, stop daydreaming. let's gather.", yeonjun ushered with his arms wrapped around her waist, trying to push her to the bunch of students that sat in front of mr choi. Even though the girl did not dare to look into the eyes of him, she could feel his glare throwing daggers at her and her friend. Chaemin gulped as she awkwardly moved yeonjun's arm away.
After that day, beomgyu was avoiding and ignoring her at all cost. Perhaps he wanted her to taste her own medicine or perhaps it was yeonjun's flirtatiousness that annoyed the teacher.
"mr choi! let's eat together!", chaemin suggested when he walked by. However, Beomgyu did not spare her a glance and acted as if she was invisible. Chaemin bit her lips in sorrow as she looked down at her unappetising lunch.
All this was unfortunately witnessed by chaemin's extremely protective friend and choi yeonjun would never let it slide...
