I found myself lying to myself again, as I did often nowadays. I would gamble at the casino often, and here I found myself at the Poker table again. After I finished collecting my winnings, I began to enter the bathroom to clean my face.

I looked at the mirror, and looked at my awful look.

I looked at my pink hair with two pink and purple bows, my slim glasses, gray eyes, heart necklace, beige overcoat, gray crop top underneath, and blue jeans.

I also pulled out my fake ID and looked at the age listed.

The ID listed me as 21, even though I'm only 17.

The only thing correct on this ID is my name.

My name is Setsuka Kiyoshi, and I'm a High school student with a gambling addiction. I'm not old enough to gamble but I do it anyway

I wiped the mascara off of my eyes, and cleaned it off completely.

I walked out of the bathroom and slowly made my way towards the exit, and walked past all of the casino tables, and walked  out the front door.

I looked at the convenience store, "Lucky 7" from a few blocks down.

I walked there, and on my way, saw some rats digging around in the ground.

During that time, I wasn't paying attention walking into the store and ran into a man wearing an Ushanka and a black coat. He was holding a slushie and it had spilled all over my overcoat.

"Oh crap, I'm sorry." He said, holding his hand out to help me up.

I accepted his hand, though reluctantly.

"I'm really sorry." He apologized. "I can take you to the laundromat and get it cleaned if you'd like."

"I think I'm fine." I replied, dropped my coat onto the ground and went inside.

I walked straight up to the clerk, a pack of cigarettes in hand and showed them my fake ID.

They rang up my card, and handed me the cigarettes back.

"Have a nice day." He said cheerfully.

I walked out and was met with a large amount of cold rain.

"Are you suure you don't wanna clean your coat? It'll be nice and warm from the dryer." He smirked.

"Y'know what?" I started, "That sounds nice actually."

"What's your name?" The man asked.

"Setsuka." I replied. "Setsuka Kiyoshi."

"Ah. My name is Aidan Hill." He replied, "Well Ms. Kiyoshi, let us head to the Out-N-In laundromat. It's in the mall beside the casino. On the right hand side."

"Well, Let's not get soaked in the rain, let's go!" I pouted.

We began walking fairly slowly on our way to the Laundromat, soaking in the rain.

On the way I saw a large shadow peering at me from across the way.

I freaked out a bit and ran quickly into the mall so I could get out of the rain.

Aidan took a bit longer to get in, but when he did he was laughing.

"You took quite the run for it didn't you?" He laughed.

"Don't mock me jackass!" I shot.

"I'm just jokin." He replied. "Chill out."

"S..sorry."  I apologized.

"All good, it's in the washer right now and should be good to dry in about 10 minutes." He replied.

"Thanks Aidan." I smiled.
"So. Would you happen to be in Mr Brightman's class for Homeroom?" He asked, casually.

"I-how did you know?" I asked.

"I'm in that same homeroom class, I'm just surprised it took me a while to recognise you." He replied. "On top of that, why are you gambling and buying cigarettes while you're still a Junior in High School?"

"I....I have a problem." I replied.

"Ah, I see." He replied. Hesmirked a little and then grabbed the pack of cigarettes out of my purse without my permission.

"H-hey!" I shouted. "What are you doing?!"

"Throwing these out." He replied calmly. "Removing the temptation and trying to forward you to the path of betterment."

"So you think I'm broken? That I need to be 'fixed'?" I sneered.

"No." He replied, and he grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes. "I think you are a great person. However, that means I want to try helping you stay safe and away from these things."

I looked down in shame, and he chuckled a bit.

He took my coat out of the washer and transferred it into the dryer, and inserted a few coins.

He came over and sat back down, and we looked at the news on the TV above the table.

"The head of the Kokino crime family admits to having relation to the Hades Incident this morning, where Makoto Kokino explained his arrangement." The reporter began.

"Holy shit!" Aidan looked surprised.

"H-Hades Incident?" I asked.

"It was probably one of the most disturbing police cases I've ever heard about." Aidan explained, "The Mafia and other crime families all arranged their own men to be thrown into a death game, a mutual slaughter with rules and stuff. Like a Death game, something you'd find out of 'Saw' or 'Danganronpa'"

"J-jesus christ." I replied. "That's awful."

"I was originally going to have my daughter, Mikio take my place in that Game, but She refused to participate and almost killed me defending herself." Said a bald, gruff man on the TV.

Inside of the prison cell the man was being interviewed in, a couple of Policemen came to take him away.

"Well, tune in next week when we interview the woman herself, Mikio Kokino to talk about her role and what her plans are now that her father is behind bars. As far as I'm aware, she plans on turning her father's Mob family into a healthy business operation." The report continued.

"I wonder if she'll actually be able to use her father's blood soaked fortune to do some good." Aidan started, "The Kokino mob has been disgustingly terrifying."

"I don't pay much attention to the news." I chimed in.

"Ah, and that's okay." He replied, "Probably better you don't nowadays."

He turned around and took my coat out of the dryer, and shook it off a bit before draping it over my shoulders to put on.

"Aidan.." I said, putting on my jacket.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"I've only known you for around an hour, but I feel like I've known you my whole life." I said.

"Well, it can be like that with some people." He replied. "I guess we were just meant to be friends from the start."

I got my jacket fully on and I walked to the door, waiting for him.

"You want me to walk you home?" He offered.

"Sure." I smiled.

He smiled and began walking out the door, in front of me.

"Wha-who-" He sputtered some sounds, like he was dizzy, and then collapsed.

"Ai-Aidan?!" I shouted, I crouched to the ground to check if he was breathing, but before I could, my vision went black.
