"What's up?"

"Aaah. Nothing . Oikawa's just being stupid." Iwaizumi said keeping his phone away.

"How so?" Matsukawa asked

"Don't mind him... So, what's your plan?" Iwaizumi asked facing Matsukawa

"Plan? For what?" Matsun frowned, confused

"Tsk.. You're kidding me right now, right?" Iwaizumi raised a brow glancing at the spiker.

"I don't know what you're talking about Iwaizumi-"

"What do you feel about Hanamaki?"

"What I feel? I feel nothing... I mean.. I tried once, but he said no. I'm lucky he still considers me as his best friend..." Matsun stopped, then stared at Iwaizumi.

There are only few people who knew what happened before, and Iwaizumi was one of them.

FLASHBACK (IN MIDDLE SCHOOL)
"Hanamaki! Are you doing something on Saturday?" Matsukawa asked

"Nothing in particular. Why? Have any plans?"

"Yeah. Let's go to the... uhm.. amusement park... I.. have something.. to tell you." Matsukawa said hesitantly

"Okay, sure."

The two met at the amusement park, enjoyed all the rides they could possibly try, eat ice cream, and bought tshirts.

They sat on the bench where they enjoy their crepe and laugh at different things. Once they finished with their food, Matsukawa heavily breathe out.

"What's wrong?"

"Takahiro.... I... I have something to.."

"Oh, yeah... You said you have something to tell me... What is it?"

"Hanamaki... I... I like you... more than my best friend... I love you!" Matsun confessed but the other just flinched as he stood.

"Aaah. Matsukawa... I... I... I'm sorry... I.. don't feel the same way... I..."

Hanamaki rejected Matsukawa and he run away from there leaving the raven head crying and devastated.

Matsukawa felt so depressed and he decided not to attend school for a week. Hanamaki felt guilty because of it, but he couldn't bring himself to say that he likes his best friend that way... He's worried, yes... but telling a lie wouldn't make Issei feel better, so Hanamaki let it be... The pink haired didn't text nor call Matsukawa...

After a week, Issei returns to his classes like nothing happened. But everything has changed. He started avoiding Hanamaki and everyone closed to his best friend.

Hanamaki suddenly realized how deeply he wanted to apologize to Matsukawa... but his chance is very slim... He sent messages, it was seen by the other, but Issei didn't bother to reply.
