Burn the palace to the ground,
All that is left are ashes.
Burn, burn, burn to the ground.
Until I see nothing left, nothing but more ashes.
Phoenix, you are, rise from the ashes.
Your dream come true, the palace burnt.
Rise, mighty Phoenix, the palace wholly burnt.
The palace that we inhabited, that palace has burnt.
We lived, we died, we repeated a thousand times.
We were innocent, we were liars.
We were not the only ones in the palace that burns.
We rose, we fell, we rise again as the palace burns.
Don't quarrel! You are about to die, don't you see?
Inside the palace, the King and Queen,
Burning to death, with their palace wholly burnt.
Swallow, fire, swallow whole, swallow clean.
Fascinated we were to live in a palace, palace now is burnt.
We were innocent, we were liars.
Hell dressed in heaven's clothes is what it was, palace before burn.
No, we hadn't realized, not until the fire.
Ashes, love to ashes, jealousy, envy as well.
Burnt, everything burned, everything in the palace.
The King had no son, glad he was for his three daughters.
Daughters married, had their sons and daughters.
Sons and daughters ran around, played in the palace huge.
They were cousins, until the pauper, pauper of the Toodge,
Pauper's son happened to be of interest to the prince and princesses.
The grandsons and granddaughters, of the palace in the ruins.
They were three, he was one, together they made four.
Four, oh! Four, the three cousins had now become four.
Liars they were, liars they are, young and innocent still.
Understood not, the pauper, despite all charm, was a pauper still.
The King let the children play, new not his palace will burn.
The King let the children play, let the eldest princess fall in love.
Grew old, gradually, the pauper and the princess, grew in love.
The four Liars, the Queen called them, were growing up.
The daughters fought over the throne, chandeliers and the palace.
"Who gets what after father dies", now all they have is ashes.
In the meanwhile, the Liars jumped in joy, unaware of the clashes.
Beautiful brains, they had, beautiful eyes with beautiful eyelashes.
Playing by the Riverside, unaware then, that river would be burnt.
Burnt until it quenched the thirst, quench while it burns.
Playing, laughing, talking, singing merrily by the waters.
The pauper, the grandson and the two granddaughters.
Over time, the pauper's son had talk around the palace.
Talk about him and the little princess of the palace.
Frightened, he was, to know of their knowledge.
He goes and tells the princess straight.
The princess was not awake, her eyes not open, deep in her sleep.
The princess was innocent still, didn't listen, she was deep in her sleep.
Woke up gradually, to the voice, voice of her Liars four.
Also heard about the sisters fighting from the Liars four.
Believe, she still didn't, was blinded by love,
Until she heard their voices herself.
Talking, they were, loud enough, about the issues above.
Over fighting, they decided, that all had to leave,
Leave with their children, leave the palace burnt,
For the King after his death, no one would inherit the palace.
The King loved the eldest granddaughter, but she loved the pauper.
The daughter tried to kill the pauper to keep her daughter away,
For she couldn't keep the palace if her daughter changed lineage.
The King, blonde, blue-eyed, wouldn't bear change in his lineage.
The King won't crown pauper the prince, rather give his palace away.
Palace, he did give away, for the palace is burnt to the ground.
The four Liars had made a plan to watch as the palace downed.
They had wanted to live their lives, sweet and innocent, they were.
"This glowy night, before we leave, we'll burn our house down".
Of the same age they were, same innocence they had.
"Yes, we will. Oh! Yes, we will burn the palace down."
Pauper in the basement, daughter on the ground.
The other two had decided to burn the two stories down.
Oil and lanterns, they brought, to burn the palace down.
They had promised to meet each other right before dawn.
When they had done their parts, they meet in the lawn.
"Far away", the pauper said "I would take you."
The princess smiling, thinking about the flames.
The flames, the palace is now engulfed in flames.
And with a new hope of light, they entered the palace.
Silence, dead silence, just the sound of the rain.
This room, that room, the Liars set fire to their pain.
We watch the paper, cloth, the throne burn down.
Then I ran out to see the blaze run down.
Outside, I'm waiting, waiting for my three Liars.
Rise, Phoenix, rise! Your dream come true. The palace burn down.
Burns with a huge flame engulfing it, yes, burns down.
Pauper, my pauper, my morbid, fancy lover.
Exhausted, I sit down, waiting for hours.
Liars, my Liars, where are you, Phoenix?
We burnt the palace to the ground.
Where are you, my Liars? My Phoenix?
No sign of them anywhere, they couldn't get out.
The fire had burned them along with the house.
We were innocent, we were Liars, we burned it down.
What a fool I am! So late, I realize that, that night, I was the only one out.
