It was Ivory's last day of primary school the last day where she would see her beloved friends. Amy was moving to a different school and wasn't able to move to the same school.
Ivory had noticed this a while before they were about to leave but she didn't really noticed until now. At the end of the day Ivory waved her friend goodbye thinking she would see Amy occasionally but that wasn't the case. Ivory started highschool with Linda they would spend their lunch times together and sometimes some classes they were inseparabe until they started sharing friends, everything changed Ivory got her first crush it was this guy she had all of her classes with called Jake he was the same age as maybe a little bit younger then Ivory, with long dark brown hair who was quiet timid, he would occasionally talk to Ivory and make her giggle. not long after, all of her friends knew that she liked Jake they didn't really like him very much as he was a bit of a loner and was somethings a bit mean towards them but Ivory liked him. a couple of weeks went by and the school made everyone pick there favourite sport to play every Wednesday afternoon.
but Ivory didn't like sport unlike her friends she asked all of her friends what they were doing and all of them said football, or school sport which didn't really sit right with Ivory so Ivory came up with a plan she would see what Jake was going to do as he wasn't a fan of sport himself and join in to get closer to him. Jake and Ivory both picked tennis, she didn't know anyone who did tennis or how to play, so occasionally every afternoon after school Ivory would get Francis to help her learn the game.
next Wednesday Ivory went to school feeling fairly confident that she would impress Jake, before sport she had gone in the bathrooms with one of her frineds and tried to look good for Jake, making sure she didn't look stupid. the bell had rung and it was time for sport Ivory lined up next to Jake as Jake would tease her about how she had 'never placed' and how he would beat her.
