The Absurd Love Story

Choking, Jan desperately clung for his life, until inevitably passing into the murderers fat, crooked fingers.

A couple moments later, after regaining consciousness, Jan squinted forcefully, searching for a way out. Jan lay on a black, leather couch, fronting a huge computer screen. Dim light met his eyes as he -atlast- noticed the man pacing angrily around the room.

"Tell me what you are doing!" he uttered in a superior tone.

"Who are you?" Jan offered completely ignoring the mans previous statement.

"Tell me or I'll finish the job."
"I wouldn't blame you."

"It wasn't my choice to meet you, I don't want to do this. Now, tell me!" the man declared.

Jan froze. "I- I don't know."

"Tell me, you animal!"

" N-Nothing, I was doing nothing. I promise."

"The truth. Not a goddam lie." he spoke maliciously, reaching for something - suddenly - out of his left pocket.

"Please untie me and I'll tell you. I promise, " Jan put forward.

"Okay. Don't move."

Shallow, rasping breaths... One, after the other. "I am his brother. I did not kill them. It wasn't me. You have got the wrong person!"

"Ok. If you say so," the man murmured, "Where is he!"

"Sir, If I had known I would of said already. Don't you think?"

"Get out of my sight this instant." he grunted, slipping it back into his left pocket.

Jan, trudging, out of sight, abruptly came to a halt upon hearing the words: "Pleased to meet you."

"I dare to say our encounter was rousing. Next time maybe don't greet me in the same savage manner," Jan remarked, whilst exiting the office.

"Sorry!"

"Good bye, don't speak to me ever again," Jan reproached.

Jan swiftly shut the door, and released a tremendous sigh of relief, as the scorching hot sun roared at him, consolingly.
