you're sitting on your bed, checking all of your social media with that constant, irritable ringing in your ears. it keeps getting and louder until you're writhing on the floor in pain. suddenly, it stops, you open your eyes. you are in a very white and cloudy place, the floor feels like you're stepping in marshmallows. it somehow seems.. familiar. you stand up, and notice a very large, round, orange fish in front of you. he has a small device about the size of an iphone that looks like an old tv.
"are you the one causing all of that ringing?," you ask.
"why, yes, child," he replies, sounding like he's underwater.
"uhm.. could you please make it stop? it's very irritating."
the fish snickers and half waddles half runs away. you try to come after him, but you trip and fall into the sweet, sticky floor and black out.
you awake back in your bedroom, lying on the floor. you see the fish on your computer screen. he says,
"if only you knew, child, if only you knew."
the screen goes black.
