I watched her across the table as she examines the cup of water that was infront of her, she carefully picked the cup to get a closer look at the liquid inside.
I looked at the clothes she was wearing, it looked a bit odd. I realized her sweater was inside out again. I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't let things like this keep happening, but it seems I haven't been keeping my word.
"Good morning po sa inyo! Just dropping these for you guys today."
Tricia flinched by the sudden appearance of our waitress. I must have looked at the waitress with an angry expression, because it resulted with a worried look on her face.
I get very protective of Tricia because when one has dementia, there was no saying how the day would go.
"I'm sorry Ms. I didn't mean to look at you like that." she was probably a new employee here, hindi ko pa siya nakikita before.
"No worries, all is good po."
She understood the situation and quietly gave us the tinapay and kape, Tricia's favorites. I know that she also likes Coke Zero, but it was too early for that.
I thanked the waitress by nodding with a smile on my face, she nods and smiles back before walking away.
"Here, mahal."
I offered Tricia some water to calm her down, which she took with her hands trembling. After sipping some water, she asked me a question.
"Kailan tayo magpapakasal?" I sighed after hearing what she asked.
Matagal na kaming kasal, it's been 30 years.
"Soon po, mahal." I replied while I reached for her hand.
Tricia looked at our hands intertwined, she looked back at me and showed the smile that I would never get tired seeing.
"Mahal na mahal kita Y/N, alam mo yon. Kailangan mo nang kausapin sila mama para sa kasal natin."
"Mahal na mahal din kita Trish. I promise to ask tita, ate Aika, and Jill about the wedding."
She leaned to kiss me on the cheek, and later sat back down so both of us can start eating our breakfast for this morning.

A few minutes have passed and we've finished our tinapay and coffee. I held her hand and we slowly walked our way out of the cafe.
I can't stop thinking of all this short and silly memories I had with her, I keep on getting reminded by it after she unfortunately lost her life.
I would still go to that specific cafe everytime I get the chance to. Kahit ako lang yung kakain, I would still order hers and would give it to the people outside that don't have enough money to buy delicious food like this. I'm sure Tricia's looking at me proud up there.
