Tricia and I was pushed inside a small room, before we can try to get back out, the door was already locked from the outside.

"The timer starts now, you have seven minutes in heaven!"

We heard one of our fellow doctors say. I remembered that we were asked to write our names on a small piece of paper, so it was meant for this?

"Doc Tricia, I'm sorry na nasama ka pa dito."

"No worries, doc Y/N." she quickly replied

Silence filled the room after that interaction with her. I still had feelings for her but because we didn't have the time for each other, we had to end our relationship. It was back in med school so it's been a long time.

" So how do you want to spend the 7 minutes?"

I didn't expect to play any games like this, that's why I didn't care about the amount of alcohol I consumed.

"You okay?"

"Sorry Trish, napasobra ata ako ng pag inom."

I sat down on the floor, my vision was getting blurry and was matched with terrible headaches.

"Nako doc, control yourself naman sa mga ganyan."

Tricia sat down with me and patted my back.

"Do you need to lay down? Sabihin ko sa kanila na you're not feeling well and we can stop the game."

She touched my forehead and felt a fever like heat.

"Y/N!" she called me with a high tone.

"Yieee! Go doc!"

"Omyghad, ano na ang kababalaghan dyan?!"

"Take your time mga bebs! Tanggalin ko na ba yung timer?"

Everyone heard her suddenly say my name, they were eavesdropping pala and was waiting for something to happen.

Tricia sighed. She was about to stand up and knock on the door but my hand pulled her back down. I might have done it with a lot of force though, I didn't have much control on my own body at that time.

"Y/N stop it, hindi natin kaylangan maghintay ng 7 minutes, you're heating up!"

"Ganda mo kase"

"Ano?"

This is definitely the effect of the alcohol, pero totoo naman eh. I thought to myself na isn't this the perfect time to get it off of my chest, I have to tell her.

"Doc"

I looked back down on the floor, too nervous to see her eye to eye.

"Even if I see you everyday at work, you always succeed on making me smile. That feeling that I felt when we were still together, that familiar beat, that tingling sensation, those feelings never left Trish."

Tears started to form under my eyes as I kept on talking.

"I'm terrified that it will end the same way before but I can't stop it."

Silence was back into the room, I wanted to say one more thing before this moment ends.

"I hate waiting but if waiting means being able to be with you, I'll wait for as long as I'm here on earth."

"Tayo"

"Huh? Anong tayo?"

I stood up confused, about to continue the rest of my question for her but her warm lips had already met mine.

-

She pulled away for a second just to say

"It's not going to be easy, love."

My eyes widened as I heard my nickname from her before.

"I never thought I would risk the chance of getting hurt again, but for some reason when I'm with you, it all seems worth it."

-

"Timer is up!"

The door had been opened, everyone was shocked to see us happily in each others arms and lips.
