It was an afternoon in Ouro Blindado, Eric, Maro and Julie were sitting around a table, discussing the next invasion.
Julie: So, I was thinking about breaking into a factory in Ferrosville, it's in the basement of a very famous mall, the one with the same name as the city. Maro: What's the plan? Julie: I think you'd better go to the factory, I'll send you the coordinates of the place. Take a little robot of mine because it will open the door for you. Eric: Couldn't you open it with a computer or something? Julie: It's safer and by the way, it's close to there, so if he's in danger you're already close by.
Maro and Eric nod in agreement. At night, Maro arrives at the scene and Juliana's arachnid robot jumps off the skeleton. Becoming intangible, the undead kinesman begins to fall until it reaches a room with a gate. He would then become tangible, standing idly by waiting for the robot to arrive. Thanks to a drill built into the machine, it got there after a few minutes, jumping through the door and penetrating the interface with a few wires. Bia creates a wooden armor around her, so Maro runs back and around, gaining speed to punch her in the cheek and crack the wood. Just as he hits the fist, a thorn shoots out of his shoulder and goes through Maro's arm. However, Maro is a skeleton, so the center of his forearm has nothing. The skeletal being then vibrates his arm to remove his arm from the thorn, then returns him to tangibility to grab the girl around the waist and throw her up. She ended up going through the ceiling, getting half her body stuck there. Wakening tries to run away, but a large carnivorous plant emerges from the ground, swallowing it. Inside, acid begins to appear, so Maro starts running on the walls of the living being's body, turning inside it until he jumps and comes out through his mouth, tearing its insides and breaking the spines. He jumps towards Biestte and grabs her legs. Before she attacks him, he spins around to brace his feet on the ceiling and then jumps again, doing a quick flip to send her crashing into the ground, cracking the ground and shattering her armor. From her legs, several vines come out that tie Maro's body, then she gets up and starts creating thousands of leaves, rotating them so fast that it creates a tornado of plants. Wakening comes out of the vines with intangibility, but the force of the air makes him spin around. Thurnica then runs away, but the invader manages to manipulate its own trajectory to fly towards Biestte, delivering a powerful punch to the back of her head, knocking her out. His forearm starts to vibrate and he tries to finish it off by running a blow to her head, but then her arm is covered by darkness, leaving him immobile.
?: You're strong enough to have defeated my sister, she wasn't at her peak... But now you're going to face me at MY peak.

The entire place is covered in pitch and Maro begins to be crushed by the shadows, as if a snake has wrapped itself around him and squeezed him. He tries to stay unstoppable to escape, but wherever he goes, there is no light.
Maro: Help!
Hearing this from the communicator, Eric on top of a building jumps and propels his body with fiery jets from his feet, across the floor and then into the underground factory. Alukaard points his hands at the gate and fires great blasts of fire, diminishing the darkness and allowing Maro to see something.
?: I suspected there were two.
Newest intensifies his flames all over the place, but they were in balance with the darkness, as if he and the umbrakinetic were on the same level.
Eric:( Damn, they had to send Arthur just for that... Although... Actually, that's good! I just need Maro to know what to do!)
The boy looks at Wakening, as if he wants to say something.
Maro:( He's looking at me, what do you mean?... Looks like he's toe to toe with this guy and will probably only run out when one runs out of energy... Oh, I know!)
The skeleton then rips off its hood, places it on the ground and then runs at high speed, causing the friction to incinerate the hood that was against the ground and thus catch fire, gaining the strength necessary for Eric to defeat Arthur. The wave of flames builds up and hits Art, causing him to catch fire and be thrown against the wall. Eric extinguishes the flames and the pitch fades, returning to usual lighting, then he gives Maro a thumbs up. A timber of roots emerges from below the floor, lifting the floors and taking them both to the ceiling. Alukaard engulfs his body in flames and destroys the ground, passing through the leafless trees and then landing where the ground was initially. Maro simply goes through the ground and roots, landing safely. Suddenly, the roots start shooting thousands of needles towards them, Eric tries to intensify the defense of his aura, but the spikes go through the aura and hit his body. Wakening becomes intangible, but upon seeing his ally being injured, he undid the power and started running around him, generating a small tornado that started pulling the needles, getting hit a few times. He removes some spikes from his body and then stops running, throwing the ones he picked up and throwing them at others, creating a domino effect that throws them against each other and throws them away.
Maro: GO, DUDE!
Eric wake up, releasing from his body a wave of flames throughout the factory, charring the roots. The spikes were launched, but now Maro was able to deflect the projectiles while Eric burned everything. Suddenly, some needles that pass near the two become thick layers of wood that cover their bodies. Newest burns the layer and Maro breaks through it, but then some vegetable bubbles burst and release toxic gases, leaving the pyrokinetic weakened. Being a skeleton, he is unaffected, but now his partner couldn't help him and he would still have to protect him. Unable to go after Bia because he has to protect his friend, he doesn't find any other option, so he activates SoL Mode, reaching light speed and then flying out of there. He finds Biestte hiding underground with ease, knocking her out in a single blow and thus finds the factory reactor, destroying it in one hit and so he grabs Alukaard, running out of there. He arrives at the house and leaves Eric lying on the couch.
Julie: OH MY GOD WHO ARE YOU?! Maro: Calm down, it's me!
The light in the body of osseus mortuis disappears.
Julie: Ah... What was that? Maro: When I activate the speed of light, my body turns to light. Julie: Got it... Is he okay? Maro: All I know is he's alive, he breathed a plant gas. Julie: Worse than I know almost nothing about medicine, taking him to the hospital at this point can be risky...
Suddenly, a black circle appears on the wall, so Julie creates a metallic stick in her and Maro's hands. From inside, Arthur would come out injured with a sword of darkness that was falling apart, he carried Bia in her arm.
