The mess with time travel: The meltdown

I lost her once this way I'm not losing her again.... Ever!

Sid was now on dry land safe and sound. But he still had to get me out now. I tried to stay a float, but I was taking in too much water. When I called out to him again it sounded more like I was gurgling water. Don't worry little sister I'm coming for ya. T: And I'm never letting you out of my sight again. Come on this is easy I did it once and now I'm going back for my sister saving her once again from nearly drowning to death.

Gotta shake that thought out of my head. This isn't so bad. Come on claw kick claw kick. She's going under. I gotta dive down. T: This is harder now that I'm under the water. But something was coming for me, something that would've loved to eat me. The sea monsters were back. It was a matter of time that it would either be me in their clutches dead or that my brother would reach me before then.

I'm guessing you all can guess what happened if it didn't it wouldn't be a very family friendly story or a good ending of one but this isn't the end, we're getting closer to the end though. There will be at least one more chapter after this. Leading up to the dinosaurs. But let's keep this one going.

He dived down and grabbed me. One of the sea monsters biting at him, swimming after us, but we mange to get back to sweet safe land. But with blood in the water the sea monsters are like sharks deadlier and more dangerous than they were already. He lets out a bad grunt noise. As he hauls us onto the land.

He lays me down. You did it Sid tells him you kicked water's butt! He cheers. Not now Sid. Diego sh's him. Besides its just like you said most animals can swim already as babies. Not tigers I left that part out on purpose. Well despite that I didn't want to listen and that my sister didn't. He says nudging up against me, as he grunts out in pain again. I was able to save her. Again.

And I'm never letting her out of my sight again he says caressing up against me. I cough up water. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to you both. I should've never gone off on my own, just like the fire, after all this time and I still think I know what's best for me. I didn't mean to worry you Diego I seem to do that a lot. And you could've died because of me. With those sea creatures in the water. I'm sorry Sid I should've listened to your warning and your advice.

It seemed so stupid at the time. I think we can both agree on that. Diego agrees with me. I was just.... I just wanted to. I cough again. Sh, sh. It's ok I know you just wanted to try and help Ellie Manny went to go help her. She's gonna be just fine. And so are you. But you won't Diego. Look at you. I only seem to just cause you nothing but problems nothing but pain both physical and emotional. I should've never....

At least we're all safe for now. I wonder how Manny and Ellie are doing? I hope they're both ok. But like I was trying to say that's the way its supposed to be....

Back with Manny and Ellie they had their own problems Manny was trying to get Ellie out of the cave, and the sea monsters were back. He fought them off left and right. Soon they were gone for good and Ellie was free. They were alive and so were we, until the flood came and then once the storm was over and the flood was gone, we were safe once again.

Some seaweed washed up once it was all over near where we were. I was fine now. Diego claimed to be fine, but I knew he wasn't. Farrah where are you going? Hold still. What are you doing? You trust me don't you? Yeah? He questioned. Come on Diego let me help you. I pleaded. I ran off and grabbed the green stuff and picked it up with my teeth. Lay down. I instructed him.

Farrah? He questioned. Do it. I politely demanded. He rolled his eyes and laid down as he was told. It was hard to wrap his leg with it since I have no opposable thumbs so I had to wrap it carefully by using my teeth. However when the seaweed touched his foot he jerked back with a grunt flinching. What's the matter? I asked with it in my teeth. Be careful with that thing. He playfully scolded.

I'm trying to be. Hold still. Nuh uh get that stuff away from me! He growled weakly. He doesn't growl at me often, when he does its typically playful. Why did you flinch? That's what "people" do when you get hurt and then touched. You flinch. You might be a perfect killer but you're a terrible liar if you want me to think that was a in pain kind of flinch. I told you, you weren't always gonna have the upper hand around me.

You were never evil and ruthless growing up. What changed? My family situation. He *uged* rolling his eyes. Now hold still. Nuh uh I'm not letting you take advantage of me. Don't you know Diego? An injured animal is a dead animal. Playfully evil or "non" I'm still a "ruthless" predator and the masters are typically the older of the clan. Where are you going with this? YOU taught me everything I know not the pack and the rest I'm self taught.

And? And if you're "the master" of the pack but its now just the two of us wolves or in this case tigers always turn on their master not each other. I called playfully as I pretended to pounce as he quickly shut his eyes. But when he opened them he was fixed the seaweed was kind of like an animal leg cast thing. That was just to distract you. I teased.

I was never really gonna do anything to you. You can get up now. He was surprised that he could actually still move with no trouble. I can move in it? He questioned. I feel good as new. Thanks. He turned to me. You distracted me just so you could help me. I should've known. I thought you said you trusted me. I teased.

I do. But I have taught you well when it comes to prey. Water is no longer your problem Diego the water is your prey now. I purred against him as he got back up. I'm still never letting you leave my side ever again. I know. I purred again. And you're ok with that? Yep! I say popping the "P" with a big smile on my face wagging my tail like dog.

Now that everyone is safe and back together again the little tiny sloths come back. They all bow to Sid as Sid takes refuge with Diego and I and we see that he was telling the truth. They seem to think Sid is the one that made the flood go away and have come to ask him to come back with them to be the fire king. But Diego tells them that we need him since he's that sticky stuff that holds the herd together and that we'd be nothing without him. Sid decides that means he can hug us.

Manny and Ellie show up and all the sloths hug each other. Both: Don't ask. We say in sync then smile turning to each other. Diego are you ok? Ellie asks him. Yes Ellie. You're all patched up again. She frowns. I'll be fine Ellie. My little sister's taken good care of me. He purrs nudging up against me. I love you too I call purring back up against him. He doesn't bother to correct me.

Then suddenly a bunch of other mammoths come. They're not the only ones now and are probably gonna run off and be with them. But when Ellie starts to leave Manny tries to stop her. But she says now that there are more she should probably be with a mammoth since she is a mammoth. But Manny can't seem to find the words to stop her. That unless.... And then he says he hopes she finds everything she's looking for.

But then we convince him that since he's not alone anymore that he needed to let go of the past so that he could have a future. That's some great advice Farrah don't you think? I frown. Um.... Yeah. Don't worry Manny we'll be fine, just don't forget about us go after her. He runs to catch up to her.... But is he too late? And will we ever see any of them again.

It wasn't gonna be the same without him but now he's with his own herd his own family with animals that look just like them. He doesn't need us anymore. We were gonna be just fine. We know how the story ends this isn't the end. They have to come back they just have to.
