I sat on the bus staring at the raindrops slowly rolling down the window, I placed my head on the window gently and shut my eyes listening to my music quietly. My stop was usually in like 10 minutes but I was dreading leaving the bus because I would have to walk another 15 minute's. Time passed slowly yet surely and it was time that I moped slowly off the buss.
I entered the long eerie street whilst I kicked water childishly from puddles. I flicked my hood up and put my hands in my pocket, I looked down at my feet and walked whilst slouching knowing it was going to be a long, boring, uneventful journey.
I walked in silence listening to the rain falling on the parallel, planted trees whilst watching it land in water creating the water to ripple from one side to another. My hood fell off and now my hair was soaking, dripping down my face. Cars seemed to go by, causing the right half of my body. My shoes squelched because they weren't waterproof and I shivered as a the wind brushed against me.
After a long 10 minutes of silence I heard a small high pitched noise. I looked around and followed the noise as it repeated. Once I was sure I found the source I saw a wet, melting, cardboard box that had changed colour in certain spots. I looked in the box to see a small black kitten looking back at me with large, green, dialuted eye's. The timid creature backed up into left back corner of the box. I couldn't leave it there, it had nobody to help it, the poor thing looked so unwell and lost.
I took my hoodie off whilst glancing at the kitten every so often. I turned my hoodie inside out because the inside of the grey hoodie had a fluffy dry inside. I rapped the black kitten in the hoodie, where it lay shivering and exhausted.
I placed the kitten on my chest with the hoodie over the top and steadily began to run. My house was only 5 minutes away and that meant the kitten was only 5 minutes away from warmth. I ran not looking back and in no time I made it.I barged in my house slamming the door and lifting the handle up then rushed into the living room. I turned on the electrical fireplace, then placed the kitten on a small grey blanket where it lay peacefully. I walked into my kitchen and looked through my cupboards for baby formula, I do baby sitting in my spare time for some extra money, and unfortunately I found nothing. I looked at the cat who was lay there sleeping and decided I would leave without it to the shop, which was only around the corner. I walked swiftly and rushed into the shop grabbing the baby formula and some wet cat food. Once I had paid for the items, which cost me £4.45, I began to walk back efficiently.
It had stop raining now someone a couple doors down was selling stuff. I had no interest until I saw a cage I walked in and looked around and left with: a black and blue collar, a plain black cage and a small blue cat bed.
Once I entered my house I saw the kitten in a ball just how I had left it. I placed the cage down then proceeded to put the bed in the cage, I also put the collar on the cat. I placed the cat in the cage and began to make the milk in a small, clear bottle with a pink rim around the lid.
After I had fed the starving kitten I put him back in the cage. I opened the curtains and the cats blackish, blueish fur glistened in the moonlight. His collar shimmered in an unnatural way. His green eyes glowed as he stared at me intrigued and he purred quietly before curling back up and getting lost in his bed. It took me a moment or two before I decided that he would be named moonlight.
I watched the tall strange man in front of me who opened the curtains then proceeded to stare at me. I wasn't bothered by this. I was to tired to care. Plus he had just fed me, I turned around and went to sleep, a couple hours later I awoke as a small human with black hair and blue patches all over my body, I had the small mouse squeaky toy that I had in my mouth was now in my hand. But strangely I still had to collar around my neck.
I roamed around the house before reaching the fridge and then struggling to open it before finding myself some ham.
I looked out the window to see a bat, small bird like black creatures making loud squeaky noises, they flew past once in a while but if I was loud they didn't seem to pass a lot. I was thinking about them so much untill I dropped back to the floor into a short creature I looked around to realise I was a bat. I flew out of the already open window with ease. I flew across the night sky for hours before realising I had to go back home because it was getting late. Soon enough I decided to fly back, once I flew into the kitchen window and transformed into a human.
I turned around and then locked eyes with the male who had found me. "Who are you?" He asked threateningly. I didn't have much else to do so I transformed back into a cat. He looked confused and went back to bed assuming the next day that he was just dreaming.
