Chapter 9

Magni P.O.V.

After we left Atlantis , Me , Kara and Flash made our way to the old Isurgency base. Superman took it to keep it from falling into our hands again. Our priority is Cyborg.

Kara: Are you okay?

Magni:Yeah.

Kara: Good to know.

Magni:How are you feeling, are you okay?

Kara: Yeah... I'm worried about you.

Magni:About me, why?

Kara: I can see that you're hiding something and it's eating you up inside, I know you're having a hard time but...

Magni:I'll be fine ok, don't worry about it now.

Kara: Okay...

We landed on the ground and Flash was right next to us.

Flash: The base is right in front of us. It won't be easy to get in , one of the reasons Superman didn't find it so easily is the difficult access.

Magni:We can sneak in.

Flash: I'm open to the suggestions

Kara: Wait a minute, I hear something, there's a truck headed this way.

Magni:I have an idea.

The truck was coming down the road , there were two men in the truck , dressed in special uniforms. Suddenly Supergirl appeared in front of the car hovering in front of it. The driver and passenger got out and before they could react , one was knocked out by the Flash and the other by Me.

Magni:Looks like you'll have to hide in the back of the car.

Flash: If that plan doesn't work, what then?

Magni:"Then we use our keys."

I glanced at Kara and my hammer and we both grinned.

Flash: Okay so let's do it.

They both went into the cargo hold of the car and in the boxes they found , various supplies , weapons , uniforms , everything needed to equip an army.

Flash: He's arming himself for war.

Kara: We have to stop him , or we're going to have more problems than fighting brainwashed heroes.

I drove the truck down the road , Flash and Kara were hidden inside. I continued driving until we reached the entrance to the warehouse. The base guard was standing at the entrance.

Guard : We were already waiting for that shipment , were there any problems on the way ?

Magni:No , the journey was uneventful. What are these supplies for anyway?

Guardian: I don't know what Cyborg needs it for, I can't see inside his head. We recently brought in that dimensional gate , what Batman used to use.

Magni:They don't pay us enough for this, last time I wanted a raise, they told me to make do with what I have.

Guardian: Exactly, you can go ahead, put that load on that ramp over there.

The gate opened , I drove the truck in , I saw other guards on the way. I got to my destination and parked. I walked to the back of the truck where the other guards were unloading the cargo , Flash and Kara must have gotten out before since they would have found them by now.

Guard: What are these boxes for anyway , doesn't Cyborg have enough of those supplies already?

Magni:Cyborn told us to bring them, so we will.
