"Your staring" Rindo chuckled which brought me up from staring.

"Hm? What you say?" I asked him.

"I said your staring" Rindo repeated himself.

"Was I? Oh sorry" I chuckled.

I went back to reading my emails but I felt slightly flustered.

About 5 minutes later Rindo came back into the room wearing his sweatpants and a brush in his hand. He pouted as he brought the brush up in his hand. He acts more of a child then Kai does sometimes.

"Come here" I sighed patting on the place in front of me.

I spread my legs open and he sat in between them as I brushed his hair. His hair was honestly beautiful, I loved it.

His hair was still wet and dripping onto his chest, shoulders and back so I grabbed a towel next to me and put it on himself for him to dry himself up a bit. I continued brushing his hair and once I was done I gave him the brush back, after all it was his.

He had quite a lot of his things at my house. I guess he stayed there enough to have them there. He put the hair brush and towel away and then got into the bed.

I cuddled up to him like usual and he put his arm around me and his other hand was on my thigh as my leg was over his and head on his chest.

"What movie we watching tonight?" Rindo asked playing with my hair.

"What do you want to watch?" I asked.

"I don't mind" he shrugged.

"Neither do I. Should we just look at any suggestions?" I asked.

We were both very indecisive people so options were hard for the both of us. We ended up playing some comedy film mixed with fantasy. I reached for my phone again because I didn't finish reading my emails. Rindo was looking down at my phone with me.

"An email from school? Did Kai do something wrong?" Rindo asked me.

"I don't believe he would" I said shocked.

I clicked on the email and started reading. Oh they were asking for me to come in. With my husband too? What did Kai say?!

"I- I uhm husband" I chuckled.

"I think they mean me, I guess he does tell everyone about me being his dad. Do you know what it could be about?" Rindo asked.

"No clue" I sighed.

"What time is it?" Rindo asked.

"3pm, he will still be in school then. I wonder why?" I sighed.

"We will go in later and see" Rindo smiled.

I put my phone down and we continued watching the movie. I kept getting paranoid that Kai had done something wrong, he wasn't a bad kid I wonder what it was?

I was falling asleep so Rindo quiet down the movie. Soon we both fell asleep. The both of us can argue like animals sometimes, fight like bears but also cuddle like bears too. Our friendship was full of surprises like that.

The next morning I woke up to Kai jumping on the bed. Both me and Rindo woke up at the same time.

"Kai just get ready for school, I'll take you to school in a bit okay" I smiled at him.

"I'm happy dad is still here" Kai smiled.

"Me too kid, moms bed is way more comfy then mine" Rindo chuckled.

"It's mommy" Kai growled.

"Right mommy's bed" Rindo chuckled before shooting me a look.

Once Kai left Rindo just shook us head as to say 'I told you so' from being corrected on calling me mommy. I just laughed it off and we both got out of bed.

I went to take a shower and Rindo made breakfast for us all. I had gotten into my outfit for work today being a forest green dress which had thin strips and a very flow like bottom to it, the wind won't be bad so it's fine.

I went to the kitchen and took over making breakfast as Rindo went to get changed. I gave the breakfast to everyone as we all sat down to eat.

"Kai, did you do something bad at school yesterday?" I asked him.

"Uhm no, why?" Kai asks.

"School called asking for both of us in, do you know why?" Rindo asked.

"They did that with Ellie's parents too, and with Toji's parents" Kai smiled.

"Do you know why?" I asked.

"They are trying to find parents who are the detention of true love so they could give a small speech about what it is to be in love" Kai explained.

What a relief he didn't do something bad. But love? Why? They are 9 and 10 year olds in that class, and us? Me and Rindo? Well technically I don't have a husband.

We just ate breakfast the rest silently and I took Kai to school. I told Rindo to close my house once he leaves and that id pick up the keys later. He agreed so I took Kai to school.

As I got to the school his teacher came up to me as Kai ran into school happily. She asked for a moment to talk. She explained why she asked us to come in and it was just like Kai said.

"Ma'am I don't have a husband, I was never married" I chuckled.

"But Kai always talks about his dad" the teacher seemed confused.

"His real dad isn't present in his life, it's best that way. The dad he calls now is my best friend, he has always been there for him so he calls him his dad" I chuckled.

"Oh right, well maybe this talk isn't for you then" the teacher chuckled.

"I'd still love to come with him, soulmates and love isn't just romantic relationships, they can also be platonic. Oh and also me and my best friend are often told we are like a couple, neither of us mind" I smiled.

"I love that idea! I'd love to talk to him too, wonderful thank you" she said and bowed before heading into the school.
