They say that when live gives you lemons make lemonade. However when life gives you an arrogant boy who is just out to cause trouble, you give him twice as much trouble in return.

"Rhiannon wait up will ya?!" Ruby Lockwood shouted to her best friend who as always was rushing ahead of her in order to get to lesson, as she hated being late, and Ruby being Ruby was as always holding her back.

"Well if you'd hurry up and stopped dilly dallying then I wouldn't have to be rushing now would I?!" Rhiannon shouted back to her best friend not even bothering to stop, she just kept on racing down the hallway, anxious to get to class on time, as she could not get yet another detention or her Mum and Dad would ground her once again.

"Sorry but it's not my fault that I have such a butterfly brain!" Ruby retorted, picking up her pace slightly in order to catch up with her insanely tall best friend, who at the incredible height of 6ft 2 practically dwarfed Ruby who was only a mere 5ft and 3 inches, and so her stride was much shorter than Rhiannon's meaning that she had to walk even faster just to get on par with Rhiannon.

"Rhiannon for goodness sake! Will you just bloody slow down woman!" Ruby scream at her best friend only to be ignored "Rhian-" She began only to be cut off as she collided with something, or rather someone. "Oh bloody hell" Ruby cursed underneath her breath, the sound of her voice quite muffled due to her head being nestled firmly against what felt like the warm muscular stomach of a male, thus her cheeks reddening and her voice going up a few octaves when she next spoke.

"Do you mind?!" She squeaked attempting to sound scolding, which was of course to her avail, instead she just sounded like a small child trying to stick up tho their parents when they had told off for doing something they rather shouldn't be.

"I should be the one asking you that" The deep husky voice of the person Ruby seemed to be layed upon.

"Excuse me and why's that then?" Ruby exclaimed, sticking up for herself finally after she had gotten over the initial shock of colliding with this mysterious lad.

"Well you're the one who seems to be sprawled put on my chest" the voice replied, sarcasm tainting its every word

"Oh right uhm yeah sorry" Ruby stuttered over her words as she scrambled off of their chest, feeling a slight chill as she did so.

"Aren't your forgetting these?" The boy asked holding out her folders and bag for he to take, before she could walk away forgetting them.

"Oh right, thanks" Ruby replied, finally seeing the boy for the first time, and she had to admit to herself he was good looking. What with the chiseled features and brown wavy hair, that adorned his head in such a perfectly messy way it was breathtaking, and that smile, oh that smile it was to die for, literally.

"You are very welcome Angel" He replied smirking softly to himself at his joke, hoping hat she would get it too.

"Right okay then, I gotta get to class now" Ruby smiled genuinely thankful for his help, as she turned around running back to her friend, throwing one last glance back at the mysterious boy before joining her best friend who had stood in awe watching the whole thing.

Lucas watched her walk away curiously wondering why she hadn't responded to his earlier joke, was the Angel playing with him, or was something funny going on? Lucas smiled to himself as he walked away

"Let's find out then shall we Angel my dear" He chuckled softly, flicking his head back to watch her walk into her first class with her best friend knowing that she was going to be a curious yet fun person to crack...
