Ray's pov

The photoshoot wasn't as bad as I thought and went along quite smoothly. Well, I did get a few weird glances from Suzy but I think I did pretty well.

The editor even called me the PERFECT MODEL.

The shoot finally got over at nine at night and we all made our way back to our respective changing rooms to get changed into our normal clothes.

"Change quickly and meet me outside Mr. Hayashi" Sky told me, before going into his room.

I go into the changing room alloted to me, and sit down on a chair, exhausted.

10 minutes later, I find myself still sitting on the chair, finding the courage to get up and change.

I am soooo sleepyyyy.

"Are you done or not" Sky yells, knocking the door impatiently and I immediately stand up.

"Umm ALMOST?" I shout back, hurriedly taking off my jacket.

I quickly unbutton my shirt but my hands freeze when I see the door swing open.

"God you took so long I thought you died or something-" Sky says, his eyes stopping at my bare torso.

In a second, I close my shirt back and turn around, hiding myself from him.

He can not see these.

No....

Author's Pov

Sky stands rooted to his spot as his mind processes what he just saw. Were those scars?

"I'll be out in a second." Ray says, turning his back to  Sky as he quickly started to button up his shirt. He couldn't let Sky see his scars, the marks of his horrid past. He didn't want anyone to know about it.

"Ray.." Sky's voice came out in a soft whisper.

It was the first time he used his first name.

It made Ray flustered but fear took over this beautiful feeling.

"Go away, please" the scared soul whispered but the latter didn't obey.

"Don't hide from me Ray" Sky said softly, as he put his hands on Ray's shoulder, turning him to face him.

Ray turned, clutching the fabric of his shirt to his so torso tightly that his knucles turned white.

Scared how Sky would react, how anyone, in general, would react.

His life was finally getting back on track, with a job and a stable income. He had already been through a lot, another rejection would leave him broken.

His eyes remained affixed on the floor, not daring to even breathe, as Sky pulled him closer to him.

"Ray" he urged again, his hand gently cupping Ray's face and lifting it. "Look at me".

Warmth flew through Ray's body as he slowly lifted his gaze, his eyes meeting with the brown soft ones in front of him.

"Don't hide from me, it's okay" Sky said, placing his hands on Ray's cold ones that were clutching the fabric tightly. He relaxed his grip and let Sky pull them apart, his shirt, falling open.

Horror? Anger? Pity? Confusion?

Many emotions flickered through Sky's mind as his eyes ran over the numerous horrible red marks and scars.

Some of he was sure were burn marks.

Who did this?

Why did it happen?

What did Ray go through?

So many questions ran through his mind.
He wanted to ask them, but he knew, it wasn't the right time.

Ray looked away, these scars, we after all hideous. Why would someone like him while he got those healed gnashes
running across his body.

Ray was sure that Sky was going to ask him about how all this happened and who did it, but all his presumptions were proved wrong when he asked him something he never would have thought.

"Are you okay?"

Okay? No he was not okay.

He was alone, he was lonely, he was miserable. He felt he was all fucked up and his life was hell.

"Yes I am" he whispered, but his eyes betrayed him, as warm tears started to flow from them.

"Shhhh it's okay. I am here. It's okay Ray, I've got you" Sky whispered, hugging the scared soul tightly, as he started to cry harder.

"Please don't hate me for my past" Ray said through his sobs, breaking Sky's heart into a million pieces.

"You're perfect"

'Why does he think I would hate him? Is that how he really feels all the time...that people would hate him?' he thought.

He hugged the crying boy tighter as he shrunk in his arms.

The flickering emotions he felt finally stopping at something he knew he felt from the first time they met—Love.

Sky's pov

"Sir we are here" my driver informed me as we stopped in front of my villa.

I looked at Ray who was deep asleep on my shoulder, the strands of his black hair covering his face.

I slowly brush them away from his face and ponder if I should wake him up or not.

He looked so calm when he was asleep, not at all nervous or anxious.

I open the door of the car and slowly, without waking, pick him up.

I quickly head inside and place him on my bed. He was lighter than he looked...and tinier too.

I pull he bed cover over him and switched off the lights, leaving him to sleep.

I shut the door quietly and go to the kitchen, grabbing a slice of break and buttering it up.

I completely forgot to have my dinner today.

Oh shit.

I stuffed the bread into my mouth and quickly took out a pot from the cupboard.

If I was hungry, Ray must be hungrier. I didn't see him eating today at all.

I turned on the stove and quickly put in two packets of rameyon in.

Ten minutes later, I turn off the stove, pouring the hot noodles into two bowls.

"Um, Sky?" I hear I tiny voice speak and I look up to see Ray standing in the doorway of the kitchen, looking at me curiosly from his shiny black eyes.

HE WAS TOO FUCKING ADORABLE!

I feel the heat crawl up my neck and I quickly look away.

"Uh yeah?" I ask him, and he panics for a second before apologizing.

"I am sorry, I accidently called you by your first name, Sir"

He was worried about that?

I groan and roll my eyes, putting the bowls on the table.

"Eat something first, then we will talk".
