Explosions are popping up everywhere and it's extremely hard for Y/n to dodge them all easily.
Y/n: Cmon Luffy keep up the pace the execution is about to start.
He says trying to stay at top speed
Luffy: Yeah I know. Ace is in trouble, so we gotta hurry
Kizaru then appears in front of the two.
Kizaru: Time to send you back to the Starting Line.
He kicks Y/n and Luffy sending them both flying backwards until Jimbei catches them.
The Whitebeard Division Commanders then begin to lead the charge in hopes of making it to the plaza. The explosions continue to rain down but they continue to push through. Whitebeard is then stabbed by one of his allies. Y/n doesn't really have the time to stop and worry about the old man, he looks like he's had worse done to him so those in the front continue moving towards the plaza.
Soon Whitebeard finally joins the fight turning the tide of the war. He grips the air around him and pulls down on it causing the entire island to shift uncontrollably.
Y/n: Seriously old man?! You are making this so much harder.
Y/n says struggling to keep his footing and run at the same time. Whitebeard sends an attack at the platform where Ace is but it's deflected by the three admirals. Soon after, some kind of walls begin to arise out of the ground trying to block the pirates from getting to Ace. Akainu now begins his assault sending chunks of magma from his hands into the sky and landing on the ice effectively getting rid of their footing.
Y/n: Crap, this ain't good!
Due to Oar's body blocking one of the walls there is one entrance but anyone can tell that it's a trap, well aside from Luffy because he doesn't seem to care
Y/n: LUFFY DON'T GO IT'S A TRAP!!
Y/n and a few others screamed the same thing pretty much yet he still goes and gets blown back. Luckily everyone had transportation thanks to Whitebeard having another ship hidden underwater. Y/n decided to hitch a ride cause, he's not getting in Iva's hair. Y/n didn't exactly know their plan but it's seems that Oars Jr. is still kicking. He grabs the ship and drags them aboard solid ground now inside the plaza. But soon after, canon balls were shot at him knocking him back down.
Whitebeard rallies his troops in hopes of saving Ace.
Y/n: 'I'm not worried about anything else other than making it to that platform'
So Y/n breaks away from the group and continues fighting through the marines on his own with some minor assistance. Y/n sees Luffy get thrown across the battlefield so he rushes to his aid and catches him from Whitebeard's lite toss of him.
Y/n: Luffy take a breather you've been at it too long you've taken way too much damage in a short period of time.
Y/n says trying to hold him back. The dude is like a chihuahua trying to jump out of his arms.
Luffy: Let me go I've gotta save Ace!
Y/n: Jimbei take him! I'm gonna continue forward.
Jimbei: Go on. I'm sure he'll join you shortly.
He gives a quick nod and continues on his way. Soon Gramps joins the fight, knocking Marco back from trying to get Ace. Everything is going to shit now. The admirals are taking advantage of the pirate's discombobulation. Things aren't looking too hot for them. At one point all the marines move in to attack Whitebeard but he simply bats them all away. The executioners raise their blades and Luffy cries out in anger
Luffy: DON'T YOU DAREEEE!!
All those around him strong or weak fall out immediately. The entire plaza is shocked, well except Y/n cause he didn't notice anything different and just kept running towards Ace.
Whitebeard: Now, back up Luffy the Strawhat, with everything you got!!
Y/n: Now that's a plan I can get behind. I'll take the first wave you all take the stronger ones Fallen Glitter!
Y/n dashes through anyone who stands in their way.
Marco: Follow the path he's setting and don't go astray!
He says kicking an enemy away from Luffy.
They've seemed to form a barrier of sorts around Luffy and are protecting him from any outside attack. The group fights on, pressing through the marine's defenses and soon are coming up on the platform where Ace is.
Iva: I'm sorry but I need you for this one
Inazuma: It's not a problem Iva
0:49-1:20 (or just watch the whole thing)
Y/n: Luffy keep going I'll back you up. I'll join you in a minute just go!
Luffy: Right!
Luffy runs up the ramp nearing Ace and soon Y/n is right behind him still playing the protector role. Then Gramps appears infront of them looking to take Luffy and Y/n down and Y/n falters, but Luffy keeps going and punches him in the face. Gramps falls off the bridge giving Luffy a clear shot to Ace. Y/n hangs back to lightly check on Gramps.
Y/n: Gramps you alright? That was quite a punch you took.
Gramps: What are you doing helping Luffy? So you're a pirate now? Am I gonna have to disown you too?!
Y/n wasn't prepared to hear him say that, but truthfully at this moment, he didn't care.
Y/n: That's not at all fair gramps. I've done all that you wanted me to do, it's time I live my life and make my dream a reality. I want to tell the tale of a great crew, and I just can't do that with the marines holding me back.
He's silent for a while but then a shining golden light is cast down upon them. Y/n looks up to see Sengoku in his Daibutsu form

He then punches the platform destroying it completely. Y/n protects gramps from any falling debris.
Y/n: You ok Gramps?
Y/n sees that Luffy and Ace survived the fall and are now making their way back to the bay to escape.
Gramps: Yeah I'm fine. Go. Go live your life. I have no hold over you anymore, never did really. The Celestial Dragons are a different story though, so you'd best protect yourself, understand?
Y/n: I understand. Thank you for everything Gramps, really. And tell the Celestials that if they want me, then they'll have to catch me first. See ya later gramps.
Y/n says and hugs him abruptly. The two separate and Y/n makes his escape.
